The aim of this study was to compare the reproductive traits, lactation milk yield, and body measurements of the Damascus (Shami) and Kilis goats raised as dairy goats in the dry climatic conditions of the Southeastern Anatolia region of Turkey. The study was perfomed using 596 Damascus goats and 82 Kilis goats between 3-5 years old. It was observed that the lactation milk yield, lactation period, withers height, and leg circumference of the Damascus goats (175.86 kg, 227.48 days, 72.67 cm, and 74.10 cm, respectively) were significantly higher (P<0.05) than those of the Kilis goats (107.48 kg, 170.39 days, 69.70 cm and 71.83 cm, respectively). This analysis indicated that the Damascus goat may be a good breed for dry climatic conditions. It is suggested that focusing on growing Damascus goats could increase productivity in the Southeastern Anatolian region of Turkey.

Three major technical and economic factors of the ”Yellow Line“ project of the Stockholm subway network justify the decision to apply a BIM‐oriented design: (1) Early optimization and risk minimization for cost and time and active counteraction to the loss of information throughout the entire lifecycle of the project, (2) all technical aspects are to be incorporated in the design simultaneously and from early stage onwards, (3) numerous surface and subsurface structures, including tunnels under operation and in vicinity of the new line lead to a complex geometrical layout and geotechnical influences on each of these structures are to be minimized. Commercial 3D/BIM products have proven to be developed for application in surface structure design and new methods had to be established to cope with high quality tunnel modelling, coordination and tunnelling challenges. This publication is addressing the experience and solutions made during the design: Choice of appropriate modelling tools, applied methodology for a structured design process in a multidisciplinary and manifold work environment, accounting to highly complex geologically‐geotechnical data, seamless transfer of the model data to numerical analysis tools. The advantages and disadvantages of using BIM methodology are discussed and recommendations with regard to future development are presented.

Those who work in a learning organization are more satisfied with their lives. Individuals in an organization who experience job satisfaction serve organizational goals more strongly. Therefore, it is possible to say that learning organizations make a positive contribution to the job satisfaction of employees. In this study, it is aimed to test the relationship between organizational learning and job satisfaction. In this context, by using the scales developed by previous researchers, it was investigated whether there is a relationship between organizational learning and job satisfaction, and if there is a relationship, to what extent organizational learning, which is an independent variable, predicts job satisfaction, which is the dependent variable. As a result of the correlation analysis applied to the data, a statistically significant relationship was found between the "Organizational Learning" variable and the "Job Satisfaction" variable. The strength of the relationship between these two variables is moderate. In addition, a statistically significant relationship was found between a total of 7 factors belonging to the organizational learning variable and job satisfaction at medium strength. As a result of the simple linear regression analysis conducted to examine the extent to which organizational learning predicts job satisfaction, it was seen that the variance of 38.6% in job satisfaction varied depending on organizational learning. The findings of this research are consistent with previous research that emphasizes that job satisfaction is an important predictor of employees' individual performance.
