El objetivo del presente trabajo consiste en analizar el efecto que tienen los mecanismos del Gobierno Corporativo (GC) en la Gestión del Resultado en las empresas de México de la zona centro del sector industrial y material que cotizan en la Bolsa Mexicana de Valores (BMV), metodológicamente la investigación es de tipo descriptiva e interpretativa y fundamentada en el análisis de información de tipo cuantitativo, se analizó una muestra de 52 informes anuales y 52 cuestionarios del Código de Mejores Prácticas Corporativas (CMPC), a través de la aplicación del modelo de regresión lineal, que arrojo en sus resultados que la Evaluación y Compensación, Tamaño de la empresa y Rentabilidad Económica están positiva y significativamente relacionados con el nivel de manipulación mientras que la Función de Auditoria tiene un coeficiente negativo pero significativo, es decir, constituye un freno en la Gestión del Resultado. Concluyendo que la Función de Auditoría contribuye a mejorar la calidad y transparencia de la información financiera que proporcionan las empresas al disminuir las prácticas manipuladoras.
El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la influencia de los roles de género en la identidad territorial de las mujeres del barrio Estadio, Recoleta, Santiago de Chile. Esta investigación es cuali-cuanti, con un carácter exploratorio-descriptivo, transversal en el tiempo y no probabilística. Se diseñó y aplicó, una encuesta y una entrevista semiestructurada con diversas finalidades. La encuesta permitió realizar un perfil sociodemográfico de la población del barrio e identificar las mujeres que son dueñas de casa (rol reproductivo) y/o trabajadoras asalariadas (rol productivo/reproductivo), y conocer el uso del espacio y el tiempo que conciben las mujeres en el espacio privado y público asociado a roles de género. La entrevista permitió profundizar sobre los mecanismos que utilizan para establecer relaciones sociales dentro del barrio, y su participación en organizaciones comunitarias. Los resultados arrojaron diferencias entre ambos roles respecto el uso del espacio y tiempo, y las interacciones sociales dentro del barrio. Se logró determinar que independientemente del rol cumplido, la mayoría de las mujeres que participaron del estudio se sentían parte del barrio, forjaron lazos afectivos y sociales con otras familias del barrio, mostrando gran apego a éste. Esta investigación expuso que la dinámica social que sostienen y el sentimiento de pertenencia que poseen las mujeres con respecto a los demás habitantes y el barrio, está influenciado por el rol que cada una lleva a cabo, sea reproductivo y/o productivo.
Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo analizar geomorfológicamente el estero Fouqué mediante la utilización de imágenes satelitales y los datos batimétricos para la correcta determinación del topónimo. La metodología consistió en analizar e interpretar geomorfologicamente las imágenes satelitales de Global Mapper (V18) y los datos batimétricos multihaz obtenidos por un levantamiento hidrográfico realizado en 2014 por el Servicio Hidrográco y Oceanográfico de la Armada de Chile. Los resultados permitieron identificar geoformas y procesos de modelado activos en el fondo y entorno subaéreo del estero Fouqué de carácter glaciar. En la discusión se expone que las geoformas y procesos de modelado en el fondo del estero son similares a las encontradas en otros fiordos estudiados en Alaska, Canadá, Groenlandia, Escocia y Chile. Los resultados permiten sugerir el cambio de la denominación “Estero Fouqué” por “Fiordo Fouqué”, dado su origen marcadamente glacial.
