The study aims at the analysis of vector control asynchronous electric drive systems. For comparison and evaluation, mathematical models of systems are implemented in the environment of simulation modeling Matlab Simulink. The evaluation criteria selected were: complexity of implementation, energy efficiency of the inverter, accuracy of speed maintenance, torque ripple, reaction speed of the system to disturbances from the side of the drive mechanism, impact on the supply network. Vector control systems by ensuring the maintenance of accuracy of the moment in the entire range of speed control are more widespread. The study of vector systems, the formation of the stator voltage vector in which is carried out using pulse-width modulation. The signal organization during the study was carried out by several methods. At the initial stage, the signal was formed due to relay-vector control in a closed loop for monitoring the instantaneous values of current errors without forced modulation; at the next stage of the study, the signal was generated using sinusoidal pulse-width modulation based on a comparison of control signals with some reference vector, the final stage became a spatial-vector modulation method.
Energy saving issues occupy a leading position in all control systems. This article provides a detailed analysis of control systems and is conducted by considering the complexity of implementation and response to the control action. The implementation of energy-saving control systems is directly related to the selected control system and the proposed energy-efficient algorithm. A system with direct torque control is proposed, which provides energy savings in the mechanisms for moving goods. A detailed analysis of the implementation of systems with direct torque control is carried out. New methods to save energy in the control system by minimizing the stator current have been proposed.
At metallurgical enterprises, slab transfer devices are widely used, the principle of operation of which is to lift slabs in the steel casting area and transport them to the storage area. The article considers the existing control system of the slab transfer device. At the moment, the mechanism has a DC motor controlled by a thyristor Converter. This system is difficult to maintain and has a large size. As an upgrade, the installation of an asynchronous motor with a frequency Converter is proposed. In the Matlab environment, mathematical models of single-circuit and double-circuit DC motor control systems and a model of asynchronous motor with a short-circuited rotor have been developed. A vector control system is used as an AC motor control system. As a result of simulation performed analysis of the characteristics. As an optimization of the system with vector control, in order to reduce dynamic loads on the turntable, it is proposed to introduce an intensity setter into the system, the use of which provides the necessary restriction of accelerations and jerks, reduces shock loads on the mechanical components of the electric drive, including a reduction in the load on the turntable when lowering the slab.
