Áreas com elevada escassez hídrica sofrem com a grande variabilidade dos registros de ocorrência de chuvas regulares, ocasionando dificuldades em sua gestão devido a essa falta de regularidade. Este trabalho tem como objetivo a realização a análise climatológica da pluviometria na bacia do rio Una – Pernambuco, cujos resultados, poderão contribuir na tomada de decisões de setores dos recursos hídricos, reflorestamento e na conservação do solo na área estudada. Os dados pluviais foram cedidos pela Agencia Pernambucana de água e clima para os munícipios em estudo. Assim, de acordo com a série pluvial corresponde aos últimos 30 ou 35 anos, os resultados evidenciam que as irregularidades pluviais estão diretamente interligadas aos sistemas provocadores de chuvas na região e ao fator de condensação. Verificam-se que os padrões pluviais locais suportam controle de diversos sistemas de chuvas que ocorrem para a precipitação local e que suas contribuições estão interligadas aos sistemas de meso e microescalas e escala local com a interação do uso e cobertura do solo. Conclui-se que tal estudo pode gerar subsídios para criação de medidas mitigadoras no uso das regras de irrigação, reflorestamento, agropecuária, armazenamento e represamento.
