The lack of information on the relationship between the indicators of micro, macronutrient and dental status of adolescents living in Yamal was the basis for analyzing these indicators. A comprehensive dental examination of 112 adolescents aged 12 and 15 years, from among the indigenous peoples living in the territory of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, an assessment of the actual nutrition and elemental composition of blood serum was carried out. The analysis of the data showed that the prevalence of dental caries among the examined exceeds 99 %. The CPI index ranged from 4,6-7,7. The imbalance of micro- and macroelements involved in ontogenesis and providing the processes of remineralization of hard tooth tissues was revealed. Correction of the elemental status should be included in the complex of therapeutic and preventive measures that increase caries resistance.

Introduction: It is important to organize a full scale epidemic research about increasing of connective tissue dysplasia (DCT) among population in different climate regions. Connective tissue dysplasia promotes to formation and development of many pathological diseases which badly influence on the life quality and length. Aim: To identify the prevalence and structure of undifferentiated DCT syndrome among teenagers in different climate zones of Tyumen region. Methods: an observational research in Tyumen region, KHMAO UGRA, YANAO has 578 teenagers, males and females main groups ( 12 and 15 years) from secondary schools and residential schools. The evaluation of phenotypic symptoms for undifferentiated connective tissue dysplasia syndrome was according to recommendations of Russian medical therapists society for diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation people with DCT. There is a relevance, structure and severity of undifferentiated DCT syndrome. Results: The amount of teenagers with undifferentiated DCT syndrome in Tyumen region is 58,5%. The detection rate of undifferentiated DCT in the Tyumen region (south of the region) is 52.3%, in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra - 61.6%, in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug - 65.3%. The most the registered phenotypic signs of DCT included: joint hypermobility; spinal scoliosis; hyperkyphosis of the thoracic spine; straight back syndrome; Varga index 1.5-1.7; asthenic chest; bite anomalies; dysmorphism of the auricles; "Gothic" sky; loose, flabby skin; myopia. A significant severity of DCT syndrome among population is high average diagnostic coefficient, averaging 35.46 0.05 points, which exceeds the diagnostic threshold by more than 2 times and indicates possible complications of dysplastic changes. There are no differences in the severity of DCT manifestations according to a number of prognostically significant criteria, depending on climatic and geographical conditions within the studied region. Conclusion: It is very important to take into account the high prevalence and severity of DCT among teenagers in Tyumen region when planning programs for treatment, prophylactic and rehabilitation measures.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
