La propuesta metodológica aquí presentada, es el resultado de la primera fase del proyecto “Impacto de los egresados en la visibilidad del programa de Ingeniería Industrial y la articulación con el sector industrial” desarrollado por la Red de Programas de Ingeniería Industrial (REDIN) de Bogotá, de un total de tres fases. Esta primera tiene como objetivo, proponer una herramienta metodológica que pueda servir de referencia para la caracterización de egresados de programas de Ingeniería Industrial en el sector productivo, articulado a procesos de acreditación y autoevaluación, con el fin de obtener mejores indicadores para el diagnóstico de sus egresados. La metodología de la investigación empleada es de naturaleza cualitativa y cuantitativa, con un enfoque descriptivo a partir del uso de fuentes de información secundaria como bases de datos de egresados, reportes del Ministerio de Educación Nacional (MEN) y del Consejo Profesional Nacional de Ingeniería (COPNIA), que toma un muestreo por conveniencia a partir de las universidades que realizan el proyecto y que conforman el estudio de caso. El instrumento será desarrollado a lo largo de la investigación, con el fin de garantizar la calidad de la información y estandarizar los términos y conceptos asociados a las caracterizaciones de egresados y que posibiliten en una segunda fase del proyecto, hacer seguimiento a la ubicación y actividades que ejecutan los egresados de los programas académicos de Ingeniería Industrial. El equipo de trabajo está conformado por universidades públicas y privadas integrantes de la Red de Programas de Ingeniería Industrial (REDIN) capítulo Bogotá, la Asociación Colombiana de Ingenieros Industriales (ACII) y las Asociaciones de Egresados de las distintas universidades. Los resultados esperados al implementar la propuesta metodológica tendrían como fin, mejorar los procesos de captura, análisis y toma de decisiones en los programas de ingeniería industrial buscando retroalimentar procesos de revisión curricular, seguimiento a egresados, planes de autorregulación y evaluación de resultados de aprendizaje.
La presente investigación corresponde al desarrollo de un proyecto del Semillero GICOST del programa Ingeniería Industrial, donde se aplicaron los conocimientos adquiridos en áreas de ingeniería, transporte y logística, por medio del Software de Simulación FlexSim; para diseñar la construcción de posibles escenarios futuros, que puedan dar soluciones viables a la problemática de movilidad que aqueja a la ciudad de Puebla. El objeto de estudio fue un tramo sobre la Avenida la Reforma partiendo desde el Bulevar Esteban de Antuñano hasta Defensores de la República. Uno de los tramos con mayores índices de congestión vehicular, siniestros viales y emisiones contaminantes. Para su estudio, se analizaron sus dimensiones, afluencia de trasporte público, emisiones contaminantes PM10 y PM2.5 e índices de accidentalidad; con base a información obtenida de fuentes como la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU), Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), artículos emitidos por periódicos locales, estudios previos de movilidad en la ciudad emitidos por la Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla, Asociación Mexicana de Transporte y Movilidad (AMTM), Sistema Nacional de Información de la Calidad del Aire (SINAICA) y plataformas virtuales como Moovit y Google Maps. Con los resultados obtenidos, se realizó el modelamiento en el software FlexSim, lo cual contribuyó al establecimiento de posibles soluciones como la prolongación de la línea 1 de la Red Urbana de Transporte Articulado RUTA, desde la estación Defensores de la República hasta el Bulevar Esteban de Antuñano y la construcción de un bici carril con pacificadores viales, desde la Avenida la Reforma con la diagonal Defensores de la República hacia el centro histórico teniendo como referente la pirámide de movilidad y que la bicicleta debe posicionarse en las ciudades como uno de los principales medios de transporte y más ahora que la situación actual demanda el distanciamiento social y la movilidad sostenible. Con estas soluciones en el sector, se disminuye el trasporte público, la incidencia de siniestros viales y de emisiones contaminantes, además de promover el uso de otros medios de trasporte como la bicicleta, de tanta importancia en estos tiempos de pandemia.
Debido a la contingencia presentada por el COVID – 19 en Colombia, se realizó una investigación por parte de la materia de Ergonomía, del programa Ingeniería Industrial de la UNITEC, enfocada a la revisión de los puestos de trabajo inicialmente para los estudiantes en su proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje. De manera secundaria, aplicada a los docentes, al personal administrativo de la Escuela de Ingeniería que comprende los programas de Industrial, Telecomunicaciones y Sistemas y, por último, se tuvo en cuenta a personal externo que acepto ser parte del proyecto. Se planificó el desarrollo de esta investigación por medio de seis etapas, las cuales fueron: Enseñanza relacionada al contenido de Ergonomía. Diseño y desarrollo de los instrumentos de recolección de la información (encuestas), complementado con listas de chequeo y guía de prevención en los siguientes subtemas: Pausas activas. Estilos de vida saludables enfocados a la alimentación. Tipos de ejercicio para hacer en casa. Sensibilización de como deberían ser los puestos de trabajo. Y, Prevención de Desórdenes Músculo Esqueléticos. Aplicación, y recolección de los datos. Entrega de las listas de chequeo y guías de medidas de prevención. Tabulación y análisis de la investigación. Y, Conclusiones y recomendaciones del proyecto elaborado. La ejecución de estas fases se desarrolló por medio de la utilización de Tecnologías de la Información y la Comunicación (TIC’s), por lo cual la difusión, elaboración y recolección de los datos fue más proactiva ya que al utilizar componentes de ofimática, permitió que los resultados estuvieran de manera más eficientes al momento de obtenerlos, tabularlos y graficarlos. El tiempo del proceso de la investigación corresponde a los meses de febrero a mayo del presente año, brindando intervención a las personas desde abril, siendo el siguiente mes aplicados para el análisis de los datos y sus respectivos resultados que serán a corto y mediano plazo. Los recursos empleados para llevar a cabo esta iniciativa, se relacionan con el factor humano (estudiantes, docentes, personas administrativas y externos), el uso de la internet y otros afines para la obtención de los objetivos.

El estudio realizado buscó mejorar la calidad de transporte de los habitantes de los municipios de Madero y La Barra, presentando una propuesta para la construcción de una ciclorruta que conecte de forma directa estos dos municipios y la reglamentación del pico y placa vehicular para contribuir a la mejora del transporte y a aquellas personas que deben desplazarse largos trayectos para poder llegar a su destino. Lo anterior se realizó debido a que la vía vehicular que conecta estos dos municipios que comprenden las Avenidas Tamaulipas - Los Barriles tiene un alto índice de ocurrencia de siniestros viales, trancones, demoras en la movilidad, contaminación, entre muchos otros factores que contribuyen a la problemática actual en la que se encuentran estos municipios.
