A lumped-element tunable pre-selection bandpass is presented that consists of three coupled resonators. The bandpass employs a digitally tunable capacitor (DTC) and allows for tuning of the centre frequency with a resolution of 5 bit. It covers the frequency range from 450 MHz to 940 MHz, including the DVB-T band, the TV white space (TVWS) band, and the LTE-800 frequency band. The insertion-loss variation amounts to 0.3 dB. The filter measures 20 mm by 20 mm, it can therefore be easily integrated into analog RF front-ends. The filter's application to cognitive-radio platforms is discussed.Index Terms-cognitive radio, digitally tunable capacitor (DTC), tunable bandpass filter
We present a tunable bandpass filter in parallel structure in comparison to a tunable filter in serial structure. The filters are tunable in bandwidth with a constant center frequency. The investigations are based on coupled-resonators bandpass filters. The approach of a parallel topology can be adopted for filter tunable in the center frequency, allowing for a fully tunable frequency response
This paper presents an algorithm for the automatic recognition of communication standards in the 2.4 GHz ISM band. A feature-based pattern classification algorithm in combination with an advanced ultra-low power receiver design is introduced and it is shown that high classification success rates can be achieved, while the power consumption of the system is in the range of a few μW
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
