HIV, or Human Immunodeficiency Virus, is a virus that damages the cells of the immune system that protect the body from disease. Therefore, when damage reduces the number of these cells, the body becomes more susceptible to infections and other illnesses. An HIV test is a test that detects HIV infection in a person's body. This time, a team from Sari Mutiara University in Indonesia created an application covering HIV/AIDS, 'Muara Medan Plus'. B. What is HIV, signs, and symptoms, how it is transmitted, what complications, and what to do if you are exposed or infected with HIV? The methods used in this article are qualitative. This application uses several theories to explain HIV and HIV rapid tests. After explaining about HIV and rapid tests and application, we explained the importance of HIV tests to the participants/community to learn more about HIV, download and use the application "Mutiara Medan Plus" and understand.
Self-Organizing Map (SOM) is an unsupervised artificial neural network algorithm. Even though this algorithm is known to be an appealing clustering method, many efforts to improve its performance are still pursued in various research works. In order to gain faster computation time, for instance, running SOM in parallel had been focused in many previous research works. Utilization of the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) as a parallel calculation engine is also continuously improved. However, total computation time in parallel SOM is still not optimal on processing large dataset. In this research, we propose a combination of Dynamic Parallel and Hyper-Q to further improve the performance of parallel SOM in terms of faster computing time. Dynamic Parallel and Hyper-Q are utilized on the process of calculating distance and searching best-matching unit (BMU), while updating weight and its neighbors are performed using Hyper-Q only. Result of this study indicates an increase in SOM parallel performance up to two times faster compared to those without using Dynamic Parallel and Hyper-Q.
The village information system is a system that supports the implementation of activities at the village office. Technological developments are having a positive impact on how researchers and governments develop software that makes human jobs (in this case, citizens) easier. Village Information System breakthroughs continue to evolve from web-based applications to applications running on instant messaging platforms. Automated answering telegrams, bots and robots are also constantly being developed so that they can be used to support human work. Telegram Bot and Webhook were developed as part of an autoresponder. The task of this automated answering machine is to replace administrative tasks normally performed by humans. Telegram bot and webhook development using Google Script as the language for building APIs tries to find programming solutions outside of the popular programming languages among application developers. The results of this research will benefit users, especially integrated village communities and village organizations.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
