Resumo: pretende-se analisar os gestos do corpo durante as danças em dois rituais religiosos: o Xirê no Candomblé, na cidade de Salvador-Bahia-Brasil, e a " festa do tambor" na Santería em Havana-Cuba, por sua riqueza estética e cultural. Especificamente, observamos as expressões do corpo, com o objetivo de mostrar elementos gestuais comuns e divergentes. Nos dois rituais, detectamos o componente relacionado à saúde. Utiliza-se a metodologia qualitativa, adotando a técnica de observação participante. Da mesma forma, as imagens fotográficas, realizadas durante a investigação de campo, são consideradas um registro que mostra os gestos do corpo observados como desempenho. A análise é desenvolvida descrevendo os elementos artístico-visuais, vinculados ao processo criativo dos pesquisadores. Como resultado, enfatizamos as características arquetípicas que observamos nos adeptos, resgatando assim o conhecimento de duas identidades culturais.
Objetivo deste artigo foi interpretar o corpo cultural a partir dos arquétipos performáticos durante o transe em comunidade afro-baiana. Enfatizam-se os valores da gestualidade do corpo segundo uma visão simbólica, durante a manifestação do transe religioso em uma cerimônia do Xirê no Candomblé em Salvador-Bahia-Brasil. Este artigo deriva de pesquisa realizada entre 2014-2017 e que vem evoluindo em estudos sobre a simbolização do corpo em manifestações/práxis holísticas. Foram consultadas fontes bibliográficas para conceituação de expressões próprias do Candomblé e que refletissem sobre o corpo e transe. Em seguida, foram selecionados processos de transformações perfomáticas nos corpos dos religiosos, através do que se denomina de processo criativo. Este começou a partir da captura das imagens e análise gestual apresentado nos resultados que consistem em uma tradução figurativa dos transes observados durante a pesquisa de campo, enfatizando assim os arquétipos performáticos, para que sirva como instrumento criador para a transposição e a difusão do conhecimento.
