Streszczenie: Cel -przedstawienie rachunkowości jako przedmiotu porównań benchmarkingowych szpitala oraz wskazanie warunków koniecznych do prawidłowego wykorzystania pozyskanych z niej informacji. Metodologia badania -analiza literatury przedmiotu oraz materiałów źródłowych. Wynik -wzorcowy zestaw danych i wskaźników stanowiący podstawę porównań pomiędzy szpitalami, opierający się na danych pozyskiwanych z rachunkowości. Oryginalność/Wartość -benchmarking jest narzędziem coraz częściej wykorzystywanym przez szpitale do podnoszenia efektywności i rentowności swoich usług. Artykuł przedstawia moż-liwości wykorzystania danych generowanych przez rachunkowość w porównaniach benchmarkingowych szpitali oraz zwraca uwagę obszary, gdzie zachodzi konieczność ich normalizacji.
Streszczenie: Celem artykułu jest wskazanie korzyści z wykorzystywania benchmarkingu do zarządzania finansami szpitali oraz zwrócenie uwagi na bariery, który mogą wystąpić podczas jego stosowania. Badaną populację stanowiły szpitale województwa pomorskiego. W wyniku przeprowadzonego badania ankietowego zidentyfikowano główne korzyści i zalety benchmarkingu. Zarządzający podkreślali usprawnienie procesu zarządzania finansami szpitala, poprawę w zakresie znajomości wyników i procesów szpitala, zwiększenie skuteczności zarządzania w aspekcie rzeczowym i kosztowym. Poza licznymi zaletami benchmarkingu wskazano również na pewne bariery i wady, które mogą obniżać skuteczność wykorzystywania tego narzędzia. Należały do nich m.in. niedostateczna wiedza na temat benchmarkingu i jego możliwości, niepełny zakres danych podlegających porównaniom, jak również niewyznaczenie zespołu benchmarkingowego.

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie zakresu i konsekwencji stosowania szczególnych zasad rachunkowości oraz zasad nadrzędnych przez jednostki budżetowe. Praca ma charakter przeglądu literatury przedmiotu. Analizą objęto publikacje z ostatnich lat dotyczące problematyki rachunkowości stosowanej przez jednostki sektora finansów publicznych. Podstawowym wnioskiem z analizy literatury przedmiotu jest stwierdzenie występowania luki w odniesieniu do badań nad stosowaniem szczególnych zasad rachunkowości przez jednostki sektora finansów publicznych. Dostępne publikacje mają przede wszystkim charakter oceny regulacji dotyczącej rachunkowości jednostek sektora budżetowego, a prace prezentujące badania jakościowe lub ilościowe należą do rzadkości. Summary: Regulations regarding the accounting of entities among the public finance sector are based on the accounting law, as well as a number of regulations in the field of public finances contained in relevant laws and regulations. The purpose of the article is to indicate the scope and consequences of applying specific accounting principles and general principles by budgetary units. The paper is the literature review. The main conclusion coming from the review is the research gap in application of specific accounting principles by public finance sector entities. Available publications are primarily in the form of an assessment of the accounting regulations of budget sector entities, and work presenting qualitative or quantitative research is rare.
