Purpose With the exponential growth of the amount of data, the most sophisticated systems of traditional libraries are not able to fulfill the demands of modern business and user needs. The purpose of this paper is to present the possibility of creating a Big Data smart library as an integral and enhanced part of the educational system that will improve user service and increase motivation in the continuous learning process through content-aware recommendations. Design/methodology/approach This paper presents an approach to the design of a Big Data system for collecting, analyzing, processing and visualizing data from different sources to a smart library specifically suitable for application in educational institutions. Findings As an integrated recommender system of the educational institution, the practical application of Big Data smart library meets the user needs and assists in finding personalized content from several sources, resulting in economic benefits for the institution and user long-term satisfaction. Social implications The need for continuous education alters business processes in libraries with requirements to adopt new technologies, business demands, and interactions with users. To be able to engage in a new era of business in the Big Data environment, librarians need to modernize their infrastructure for data collection, data analysis, and data visualization. Originality/value A unique value of this paper is its perspective of the implementation of a Big Data solution for smart libraries as a part of a continuous learning process, with the aim to improve the results of library operations by integrating traditional systems with Big Data technology. The paper presents a Big Data smart library system that has the potential to create new values and data-driven decisions by incorporating multiple sources of differential data.
The paper reports a case of a male of Bufo bufo (Anura: Bufonidae) passionately embracing a bulge of mud.
records (79.8%), followed by V. berus with 145 records (18.8%), and V. ursinii with 11 records (1.4%). Results of the present study showed that in our country there are three areas crucially important for the diversity of vipers, with all three species present: Koritnik Mt. and Žljeb Mt. in Metohija, as well as Mokra Gora Mt. in south-western Serbia. We also found 25 10×10 km UTM squares with sympatry of two species of vipers. The designation of areas of special importance for vipers (e.g. Mokra Gora Mt., Dukat Mt., Besna kobila Mt., Kamena Gora Mt.) should be one of the priority actions for improvement of their conservation statuses in our country.
Abstract:U radu su opisani sistemi preporuke u elektronskoj trgovini. Prikazana je praktična realizacija sistema za preporučivanje proizvoda u e-trgovini na primeru CMS elektronske prodavnice knjiga Visoke škole elektrotehnike i računarstva strukovnih studija u Beogradu. U takvoj situaciji neophodno je primenjivati inovacije i rešenja u oblasti elektronskog poslovanja i elektronske trgovine, kako bi e kasnost ekonomske organizacije bila visoka i kako bi kompanija mogla da podnese konkurenciju u novim uslovima [1].Mnogi od najvećih e-commerce sajtova koriste sisteme za preporučivanje proizvoda da pomognu svojim klijentima da nađu prikladne proizvode za kupovinu. U cilju ostvarivanja osnovne njihove funkcije, sistemi preporuka moraju proceniti i predvideti koji proizvod je za kupca vredan preporučivanja. INTELIGENTNI AGENTIInteligentni agenti su so verska rešenja dizajnirana da samostalno ili na osnovu zahteva korisnika preduzimaju određene akcije na vebu. Oni imaju mogućnost ltriranja informacija, obrade i povezivanja mnoštva dostupnih podataka. Inteligentnost agenata je u direktnoj vezi sa sledećim osobinama:◆ Učenje -sposobnost agenata da tokom svog rada prikupljaju nova znanja. ◆ Autonomnost -sposobnost agenata da u svom egzistiranju samostalno obavljaju postavljene zadatke. ◆ Komunikativnost -sposobnost agenata da komuniciraju sa okruženjem.◆ Personi kacija -sposobnost agenata da se prilagode korisničkim preferencijama tokom svog rada. ◆ Poverljivost & Mobilnost -sposobnost agenata za kretanje kroz različite so verske platforme obezbeđujući poverljivost podataka. Konceptualno su evoluirali iz objektno-orijentisanog programiranja i razvoja so vera zasnovanog na komponentama (eng. Component-Based). Inteligentni agenti dobijaju zadatke i prioritete od korisnika, traže informacije na veb izvorima, komuniciraju sa drugim agentima, upoređuju informacije o zahtevima i podešavanjima korisnika, vrše izbor informacija, i daju odgovore korisniku. Agenti ne zamenjuju korisnika na vebu, niti obavezno donose odluke, već je u većini slučajeva njihova uloga da prikupe, organizuju i predstave korisniku skup mogućih informacija. Although the European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis) has been included in studies for several decades, the information about its distribution and the state of populations in Serbia is still incomplete. The data collected from the available literature sources, and those based on the authors? own field investigations, indicate that E. orbicularis occupies a large part of the territory of the Republic of Serbia, preferring aquatic biotopes at lower altitudes. We compiled a list of 287 localities where the presence of the pond turtle has been recorded. Of those, 14% (40 localities) were known only from literature sources, localities added during our field investigations represent 82% (235 sites), 4% (12 localities) confirming literature data. We also gathered information on the main negative threats to the endurance of the pond turtle in Serbia. These are habitat pollution, degradation and destruction, and the spread of allochthonous invasive turtle species. Some protective and conservation measures are suggested in the conclusion. In the present paper color and pattern variations of Hierophis gemonensis, a snake with little morphological variation, are described. For the first time, partially melanistic individuals were observed and described for this species. The identity of one of these snakes was corroborated by genetic means. Taxonomical circumstances and environmental causes of this color and pattern variation are discussed.
U ovom radu, prikazujemo ažurirane podatke o distribuciji kompleksa vrsta slepića (Anguis fragilis complex) u Srbiji. Podaci se sastoje iz nalaza objavljenih u literaturi ili na Internetu, zajedno sa prethodno neobjavljenim distribucionim podacima sakupljenim na terenu. Od dve vrste kompleksa prisutne u Srbiji, Anguis fragilis je rasprostranjen u zapadnim i južnim krajevima naše zemlje dok je Anguis colchica prisutan u severoistočnim i istočnim krajevima. U najsevernijim delovima naše zemlje konstatovano je odsustvo obe vrste, zbog nedostatka odgovarajućeg staništa. Nalazi su brojniji u planinsko-kotlinskom regionu i ređi i raštrkaniji u peripanonskom i panonskom regionu, što se delimično može objasniti nesistematskim uzorkovanjem. Lokacija i širina kontaktne zone dve vrste slepića u Srbiji je još uvek nedovoljno poznata. Pretpostavlja se da se pruža duž doline Velike Morave ka jugu a zatim prati granicu između Rodopskog i Karpatsko-Balkanskog planinskog masiva ka jugo-istoku, ali postoje indicije da se hibridna zona nalazi i zapadnije. Postoji izvesno neslaganje, u literaturi, između kontaktne zone predložene na osnovu morfoloških analiza i one predložene na osnovu molekularnih analiza. Ovo ukazuje na potrebu za opsežnijim uzorkovanjem i daljim analizama. Konačno, pošto razdvajanje dve kriptičke vrste slepića do sada nije prepoznato u našoj nomenklaturi, u ovom radu predlažemo zvanične srpske nazive za navedene vrste. Vrsta Anguis fragilis će zadržati standardno srpsko ime "Slepić", dok za vrstu Anguis colchica predlažemo ime "Istočni slepić".
