Actualmente, las mujeres se han organizado para defender sus cuerpos de la explotación y el sometimiento a las que se han visto sujetas por el modelo capitalista actual. Las similitudes de esta opresión con los mecanismos que amenazan la naturaleza, y que han sido alumbrados por los feminismos comunitarios y territoriales del sur global, han marcado el camino de organizaciones que priorizan el derecho a vivir una vida digna de ser vivida en armonía con el medio ambiente. El presente artículo realiza una revisión bibliográfica sobre los posicionamientos de algunos de los movimientos de mujeres en defensa del medio ambiente en distintos contextos geográficos y sociohistóricos. Para ello, se hace referencia a aquellos movimientos inscritos en México y Argentina y que abogan por una justicia ecológica interseccional. El trabajo propone cuatro recortes temáticos para agrupar dichos grupos en función de su especificidad: mujeres contra el extractivismo; mujeres por la soberanía alimentaria; mujeres contra el cambio climático y mujeres en la transición energética. Esta división se realiza con la finalidad de reconocer los matices de cada una de sus luchas, sin dejar de lado que todas y cada una de ellas ejercen un papel imponderable en la defensa de la vida en el continente, y que se ha vuelto clave para pensar y construir una transición ecológica justa.
Ante la necesidad de romper el esquema de un aparente cuerpo teórico feminista homogéneo, el presente artículo recupera las imbricaciones de distintos pensamientos feministas fronterizos. A través de la noción de reverberación, se busca transitar el camino marcado por las genealogías del feminismo negro, de color, poscolonial y sus conexiones en el presente con las teorias feministas y travesti del sur. El trabajo recupera tres nociones que hacen eco en distintos momentos y lugares de los feminismos de los márgenes: experiencia, modos fugitivos de hacer teoría, y afectos y coaliciones excrementicias. Estas nociones serán exploradas desde los abordajes propuestos por la Combahee River Collective (CRC), bell hooks, Audre Lorde, Angela Davis, Patricia Hill Collins, Leila Gonzalez, val flores y Marlene Wayar. Encontramos en estas teorizaciones y experiencias la potencia de disputar las formas hegemónicas que definen cómo y quiénes producen conocimiento, así como la influencia de su pensamiento en la construcción de puentes epistémicos novedosos.
Actualmente existe un aparente consenso sobre la denominada crisis civilizatoria. Uno de sus ejes yace en la complejidad de la inseguridad alimentaria, caracterizada por el hambre y la malnutrición en especial de la población del Sur Global, y que se ha visto severamente incrementada por las consecuencias de la pandemia de la enfermedad por coronavirus (COVID-19). El presente artículo recupera experiencias de redes compuestas por colaboradores y colaboradoras autodenominadas indígenas que, por sus características, representan una propuesta contrahegemónica al sistema neoliberal actual de producción y consumo de alimentos en México. Mediante la recuperación del contraste entre la categoría de identidades políticas y la de alteridades históricas, entramadas en estas experiencias, se busca reponer la importancia que tiene reflexionar sobre la radicalidad de la diferencia de cada uno de los pueblos que las integran, con relación a los valores que sustentan el proceso de globalización y su razón de acumulación y desarrollo tecnológico indiscriminado. Finalmente, se analizan los ejes que estas organizaciones comparten con la finalidad de aportar a la discusión sobre la definición de identidades desde realidades materiales concretas e históricas y su influencia en la construcción de alternativas para alcanzar la soberanía alimentaria.
El presente artículo explora parte de la producción intelectual de la activista y lingüista mixe Yásnaya E. Aguilar Gil para examinar las propuestas que su escritura pone en debate desde el análisis de lo indígena y su posición de enunciación como mujer mixe. Se da cuenta de las características de su discurso como activista e intelectual y se resalta la mirada crítica del pensamiento de la autora respecto del feminismo. El texto realiza un acercamiento desde las categorías de análisis sobre aboriginalidad y género para argumentar en favor de la necesidad de repensar los feminismos actuales desde otras voces.
