Introduction: Anemia is a condition with hemoglobin, hematocrit and red blood cell levels that are lower than normal values. Iron deficiency anemia can cause various impacts on adolescent girls, including lowering the body's resistance so that it is susceptible to disease, decreased activity and learning achievement. Anemia occurs due to lack of iron so that the formation of red blood cells and other functions in the body is disrupted. Adolescent girls are more prone to anemia risk than boys, because young girls have the possibility of losing more iron (Fe) during menstruation. The content of Fe tablets is an important element in the formation of red blood cells. Objective: The purpose of this health education is to increase knowledge about anemia and assist in early prevention of anemia cases among adolescents. Method: The method used in this activity is the question and answer method where this activity begins with finding the target or subject of counseling. Result: Based on the results of research conducted on 25 respondents on January 20, 2022 at SMP Negeri 1 Sadananya, it was found that the subjects did not know about anemia. but the subjects had normal menstrual patterns, never had a history of disease, but the consumption pattern of Fe tablets in all respondents (100%) was irregular. Conclusion: In accordance with the results of the evaluation of the counseling activity on anemia among adolescents, it has been successful with indicators of Knowledge, Problem Solving, participation, duration, and Punctuality.
Introduction: Anemia is a condition where there is a lack of hemoglobin which functions as a means of transporting oxygen throughout the body and can cause problems for the growth and development of adolescents. One of the efforts that can be made to prevent and treat anemia in young women is by conducting health education. Objective: The purpose of this community service is to educate in prevention of anemia in female students at MTs Al-Munnawar, Gegempalan Village, Cikoneng District. Method: This activity was carried out using the health education method to MTs students as many as 31 people who were used as participants. The material presented was regarding the prevention and treatment of anemia, as well as the extension workers also collaborating with public health center in checking hemoglobin. Media counseling using prower point which is used as material for presentation of the material. After the delivery of the material, the participants were evaluated by opening a question and answer session. Results: Based on the results of measuring hemoglobin levels, 22 participants experienced anemia and were less active in carrying out activities. After the presentation of the material, the respondents were able to answer questions about the material. Conclusion: Health education about the prevention and treatment of anemia in students has proven to be useful in increasing the knowledge and attitudes of adolescents in preventing anemia.
Fine motor development of a child is very important to be trained because when the fine motor development of children who are well trained will make it easier for children to carry out further developmental tasks. Usually, children will have certain motor skills at a certain age, but not every child will reach these stages at the same time. The art of origami can train children's creative abilities because of its various shapes. Playing origami can help children make their own toys, thereby creating satisfaction compared to toys that have been made or made by others. The purpose of this community service is to carry out play therapy to improve fine motor skills through origami folding activities for PAUD children at PAUD Kober, the location of this community service is in RT 07/RW 02 Sadananya Village, Sadananya District, Ciamis. This method of community service is collaborative, including writers and classroom teachers. The method chosen was to carry out play therapy on 9 students, for which we conducted education, observation, and documentation. The results of this evaluation of community service indicate that the fine motor skills of preschool children at PAUD Kober have reached indicators of success. Participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the origami folding activity. The conclusion of this community service is that play therapy activities with the origami paper folding method were carried out very well without any problems, the children were very enthusiastic, happy and in the end were able to fold origami paper neatly even though it was a little difficult at first.
