Benda asing pada hidung merupakan kejadian yang relatif jarang terjadi. Jenis benda asing yang ditemukan , dari yang sering sampai yang tidak biasa berada di rongga hidung telah dilaporkan dalam literatur maupun laporan kasus sebelumnya. Laporan kasus ini bertujuan untuk membuat dokter waspada akan gejala pilek unilateral berulang terutama pada anak-anak, yang dapat mrupakan gejala adanya benda asing pada hidung. Kami menggambarkan kasus unik dari benda asing yang tertinggal di rongga hidung selama 30 hari dan jenisnya juga cukup jarang ditemukan. Pasien kami adalah seorang anak perempuan berusia 3 tahun. Gejala yang terutama adalah pilek berulang dan sudah berlangsung selama 30 hari. Pasien tersebut sudah berobat berulang kali ke dokter dan mendapat berbagai macam terapi, setelah terapi, sembuh, namun pilek akan muncul kembali. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan alat speculum hidung dan ekstraktor korpal hidung serta bantuan keluarga dan perawat untuk memegang/memosisikan pasien sehingga benda asing yang berupa foto yang telipat kecil dapat dikeluarkan tanpa komplikasi. Kesimpulan: Benda asing hidung yang berada dalam jangka waktu lama di hidung dapat sulit untuk didiagnosis oleh dokter. Dokter harus mengenali penyebab mendasar yang menyebabkan gejala pilek hidung unilateral dan harus dianggap disebabkan oleh benda asing intra-nasal sampai terbukti sebaliknya.
Latar belakang: Tuberculosis (TB) merupakan suatu penyakit menular yang penyebab utamanya adalah Mycobacterium tuberculosis dimana dapat menyerang paru dan juga organ lain. Angka kejadian orang jatuh sakit karena TB masih cukup tinggi. Pada 2020, tercatat ada 9,9 juta orang yang jauh sakit karena TB dimana setara dengan 127 kasus per 100.000 penduduk dan Indonesia di urutan ke tiga yang menyumbang dua pertiga dari total secara global. Pengobatan yang cukup lama seringkali membuat pasien putus berobat atau menjalankan pengobatan secara tidak teratur karena tidak adekuatnya motivasi terhadap kepatuhan berobat. Terdapat beberapa faktor penting untuk menunjang keberhasilan pengobatan TB yaitu pengetahuan dan peran pengawas minum obat (PMO). Tujuan penelitian: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan peran pengawas minum obat (PMO) terhadap kepatuhan minum obat pada pasien TB paru di RSUD Kabupaten Mappi. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional, yaitu peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen kuesioner. Hasil: Hasil yang didapatkan adalah terdapat terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dan kepatuhan minum obat dimana didapatkan p=0,000 serta juga terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengawas minum obat (PMO) dan kepatuhan minum obat dimana didapatkan p=0,000 Kesimpulan: Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan, PMO dan kepatuhan minum obat pasien TB. Pengetahuan seseorang dapat mempengaruhi kepatuhan minum obat TB sesuai dosis dan ketentuan serta peran PMO dimana dukungan dari keluarga dan kerabat yang menjadi PMO dapat mendorong pasien TB untuk mengkonsumsi obatnya dengan teratur hingga sembuh.Kata kunci: tuberculosis (TB), pengetahuan, pengawas minum obat (PMO), kepatuhan minum obat PendahuluanTuberculosis (TB) merupakan suatu penyakit menular yang penyebab utamanya adalah Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Latar belakang: Gangguan pendengaran telah mempengaruhi jutaan orang di seluruh dunia dan diperkirakan menjadi penyebab utama keempat kecacatan yang terjadi secara global. WHO memperkirakan 360 juta orang mengalami gangguan pendengaran, dan perkiraan terbaru adalah lebih dari 1,5 miliar orang yang mengalami gangguan pendengaran pada tahun 2018. Sebanyak 60% gangguan pendengaran pada usia muda disebabkan oleh paparan bising yang berlebihan. Gangguan pendengaran yang terjadi akibat paparan suara bising yang terlalu lama disebut gangguan pendengaran akibat bising atau noise induced hearing loss. Pendengaran yang optimal perlu dimiliki oleh setiap orang khususnya mahasiswa kedokteran, dikarenakan kedepannya akan banyak berinteraksi dengan menggunakan inderanya salah satunya dengan pendengaran. Pengetahuan yang baik terhadap penggunaan personal listening device penting untuk mendukung mahasiswa dapat menjaga pendengaran diri sendiri ataupun memberikan edukasi kepada orang lain Tujuan: Mengetahui prevalensi gangguan dengar akibat bising serta hubungan antara literasi safe listening dan penggunaan personal listening device terhadap gangguan dengar akibat bising pada mahasiswa kedokteran UNIKA Soegijapranata Angkatan 2019 -2022. Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif-observasional menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional. Penelitian dilakukan pada mahasiswa kedokteran UNIKA Soegijapranata angkatan 2019 -2022 dengan jumlah responden penelitian 40 responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Analisis data dilakukan secara univariat, bivariat menggunakan Uji Spearman. Hasil: Didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan antara gangguan pendengaran akibat bising dengan durasi penggunaan personal listening device (p = 0,297), juga tidak terdapat hubungan antara gangguan pendengaran akibat bising dengan volume penggunaan personal listening device (p = 0,176), dan terdapat hubungan antara gangguan pendengaran akibat bising dengan literasi safe listening (p = 0,027). Kesimpulan: Prevalensi pada mahasiswa FK UNIKA Soegijapranata sebesar 21,8%. Terdapat hubungan antara literasi safe listening terhadap gangguan pendengaran akibat bising, namun tidak terdapat hubungan antara durasi penggunaan personal listening device dan volume pemakaian personal listening device terhadap gangguan pendengaran akibat bising. Pendahuluan: Aplikasi 12 indikator PIS-PK oleh mahasiswa kedokteran bertujuan untuk melatih kemampuan mereka untuk mempromosikan kesehatan keluarga. Namun, kesalahan interpretasi indikator PIS-PK oleh mahasiswa merupakan hambatan dalam model pembelajaran berbasis komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi misinterpretasi mahasiswa terhadap indikator PIS-PK dan memberikan rekomendasi penyempurnaan instruksi pengisian indikator PIS-PK.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah observasi deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 25 responden yang direkrut dengan teknik purposive sampling. Waktu penelitian pada bulan September 2021 sampai Oktober 2021. Pengumpulan data melalui instrumen kuesioner google form yang terdiri dari 22 item pertanyaan dengan closed ended questions, dengan 3 opsi pilihan. Hasil :Berdasarkan analisis dari hasil penelitian, peneliti menemukan dua indikator yakni indikator 5 dan 9 yang belum dipahami secara jelas oleh responden. Hal ini dapat disebabkan oleh responden masih dalam tahap awal terpapar oleh indikator tersebut maupun karena formula indikator yang kurang memadai. Secara keseluruhan indikator PIS-PK tersebut mudah dipahami dan dapat dicerna baik. Simpulan : Terdapat 2 indikator yang membuat mahasiswa kurang memahami maksud dari pernyataan tersebut yaitu indikator 5 dan 9. Indikator ini memerlukan modifikasi atau penambahan keterangan instruksional agar lebih jelas maksud pernyataan tersebut. Tingkat kesulitan dan kejelasan indikator PIS-PK sudah baik dan cukup mudah dicerna oleh responden.
