Introdução: A pandemia da COVID-19 não apenas desencadeou inúmeras consequências políticas e econômicas no mundo todo, mas afetou fortemente a saúde mental da população. Nesse contexto, preocupa-se com o aumento no número de suicídios, atentando-se aos principais grupos de risco como indivíduos com transtornos psiquiátricos, idosos e profissionais da saúde. Objetivo: Averiguar na literatura científica o que levou as pessoas com transtorno depressivo a cometerem suicídio durante a pandemia da COVID-19. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada nas bases de dados LILACS, SciELO e Scholar Google, por meio do cruzamento dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): “Coronavírus”, “Isolamento Social” e “Suicídio”. Fez uso do operador booleano AND, como estratégia de busca para os descritores mencionados. Foram selecionados estudos disponíveis na íntegra nos idiomas português e inglês, entre 2020 à 2022. Excluiu-se da pesquisa artigos que não abordava sobre a temática proposta, resumos, teses, monografias e dissertações. Resultados e Discussão: Entre as causas mais comuns, destacam-se o isolamento social, a vulnerabilidade econômica, a redução de atividades físicas e a exacerbação do consumo de álcool. Todos esses foram fatores contribuintes para o desenvolvimento da depressão, ansiedade e outros transtornos, aumentando o risco de suicídio. Nessa situação, estratégias de prevenção devem ser analisadas, principalmente às populações mais vulneráveis: pessoas com transtornos psiquiátricos, idosos, trabalhadores da área da saúde e sobreviventes de COVID-19. Essas medidas devem encorajar a população a ter um estilo de vida saudável, oferecer apoio comunitário, educar sobre saúde mental e ofertar suporte aos indivíduos com risco de suicídio. Conclusão: Portanto, pode-se concluir que há uma forte correlação entre as implicações da pandemia de COVID-19 com o aumento nas taxas de suicídio. Faz-se necessário o reforço na promoção e prevenção à saúde com a finalidade de atenuar o impacto da pandemia na saúde mental da população.
RESUMO: Introdução: A interrupção da gestação, consiste em ser um aborto espontâneo quando ocorre de forma natural ou acidental e o aborto induzido pela gestante ou por terceiros, a prática ilegal do aborto é considerada um crime previsto no Código Penal Brasileiro, ao menos que a mulher possa ser vítima de estupro, quando o feto não possui vitalidade colocando em risco a vida da mulher. Objetivo: analisar na literatura os riscos da interrupção ilegal da gestação e suas implicações para a saúde da mulher. Metodologia: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura realizada através das bases de dados SciELO e BDENF e MEDLINE por meio dos Descritores em Ciências da Saúde (DeCS): Saúde da mulher, Gestação e Aborto ilegal. Foram inclusos: artigos completos e disponíveis na íntegra, nos idiomas português e inglês, publicados entre 2017 à 2022, excluiu-se estudos duplicados, resumos, monografias, teses, dissertações e que não atendesse a temática proposta. Resultados e Discussão: Os resultados alcançados mostraram um alto índice de mortalidade e implicações ocasionadas por conta do aborto induzido de maneira incorreta, além da repercussão emocional da mulher, essa prática clandestina consiste em ser um grave problema de saúde pública que deve ser mais discutido, é necessário que tenha políticas públicas, mesmo que ainda seja um estigma a ser quebrado, está violando o direito da mulher, por meio disso faz-se necessário educação sexual nas escolas, nos ambientes de trabalho e na mídia social, como forma de conscientizar essas mulher. Conclusão: Diante do exposto, é notório que a adesão por essa prática realizada ilegalmente está associada a fatores socioeconômicos, pois muitas mães não tem conhecimento do perigo que pode ocorrer também com a sua própria vida, essa alternativa de não aceitação da gestação é o que leva comumente essas mulheres a procurarem locais clandestinos para a realização do procedimento.
