Esse estudo buscou investigar a Integração Ensino-Serviço-Comunidade (IESC) a partir da percepção de trabalhadores da Atenção Primária à Saúde (APS). A pesquisa tem caráter exploratório, abordagem observacional, descritiva, quali-quantitativa, realizada por entrevistas. Participaram 86 profissionais, a maioria de Agentes Comunitários de Saúde (60%). Dos participantes, 95% (n=80), entendem que a presença de alunos nas Unidades colaborara para a realização do trabalho, 48% (n=39) descreveram que são as Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES) em conjunto com o gestor/trabalhadores/representantes da Unidade que definem as ações. Dificuldades para IESC: falta de infraestrutura das unidades de saúde, inadequação de horários e de transporte e falha na comunicação entre a Instituição de Ensino e Serviço. A compreensão sobre a IESC ficou mais restrita a uma “troca de saberes”, entretanto, 99% afirmaram que essa articulação favorece a construção de uma prática importante para a formação daqueles que estão nos serviços, assim como para os discentes da instituição de ensino.
Os pacientes internados em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI) apresentam prevalência de desnutrição superior a 35% já no momento da admissão e, mesmo os pacientes críticos apresentando diagnóstico nutricional de eutrofia, após admissão hospitalar, podem desenvolver desnutrição calórica-proteica rapidamente. Tendo em vista as alterações e imprevistos que ocorrem na UTI com o paciente, influenciando na diminuição da oferta calórica-proteica e na correta administração da dieta enteral na UTI, bem como a necessidade de redução de custos e desperdícios, o objetivo dessa pesquisa é avaliar a adequação calórica-proteica entre Terapia Nutricional Enteral (TNE) de sistema fechado prescrita e administrada/infundida em pacientes críticos internados em uma UTI e verificar os principais motivos de desperdício das dietas enterais. Trata-se de uma pesquisa longitudinal, observacional e descritiva, realizada no Hospital Universitário, no município de Lagarto (HUL), durante um período de 30 dias durante o ano 2021. Foi realizado um levantamento de dados na UTI, que foi selecionada por apresentar o maior número de pacientes em uso de TNE de sistema fechado, tendo como público-alvo adultos e idosos em estado crítico. A maior parte dos pacientes foi internada por doenças infecciosas (29,4%), sendo que a principal razão para a indicação de TNE foram motivos neurológicos (64,7%). Em relação ao perfil nutricional dos pacientes, observou-se que 52,9% apresentaram baixo peso. Dentre os motivos para o desperdício das dietas enterais foram citados a instabilidade hemodinâmica e erro da bomba de infusão, mas na sua grande parte os profissionais não tinham informação sobre a causa.
O presente trabalho tem como objetivo investigar as condições de saúde docente em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior Federal no interior do nordeste brasileiro. Trata-se de um estudo transversal descritivo, realizado com 39 docentes da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Dos 39 entrevistados, a maioria era do sexo feminino, casada, branca e com doutorado. Constatou-se que 74% (n=29) dos profissionais declararam insatisfeitos/muito insatisfeitos com as atividades desenvolvidas no trabalho e 31% (n=12) referiram alguma morbidade. Dentre as morbidades referidas, houve uma maior prevalência de doenças relacionadas à saúde mental (50%; n=6). Os dados obtidos mostram elevada prevalência de insatisfação com as atividades desenvolvidas na docência, bem como agravos na saúde mental, apesar da motivação e qualidade de vida no trabalho relativamente alta.
A Pandemia de Covid-19 acentuou a necessidade de entender e melhorar as condições de trabalho dos profissionais de saúde, para além dos Equipamentos de Proteção Individual, pois estes trabalhadores enfrentam, muitas vezes, precárias condições de trabalho. Este estudo buscou investigar a atuação profissional e as condições de trabalho de profissionais da Atenção Primária à Saúde no interior do Nordeste brasileiro. Trata-se de uma pesquisa quali-quantitativa, transversal, descritiva, realizada por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas. Dos 86 participantes, 60% (n=52) eram Agentes Comunitários de Saúde, 15% (n=13) técnico(a)s de enfermagem, 12% (n=10) enfermeiro(a)s, 7% (n=6) médico(a)s, 3% (n=3) técnico(a)s em saúde bucal e 2% (n=2) cirurgiões-dentistas. Observou-se que, na atuação dos profissionais, ainda persistem problemas que comprometem a garantia da atenção à saúde das populações no interior da região Nordeste, como a escassez de recursos humanos e materiais, a sobrecarga de trabalho, ou mesmo a precariedade da infraestrutura. A garantia de condições laborais adequadas é fundamental para fortalecer a prevenção e a promoção da saúde da população brasileira, ainda mais, no momento atual de enfrentamento da pandemia e de redução no financiamento do SUS.
Objetivo: entender o Arco de Maguerez como ferramenta de trabalho da Prática de Ensino na Comunidade, conforme sua orientação pedagógica, composição metodológica e inspiração epistemológica e interpretá-lo no contexto vivenciado. Método: relato de experiência vivenciado por 11 acadêmicos da Universidade Federal de Sergipe, pela equipe pedagógica e discentes do ensino fundamental de uma Escola Pública Municipal, localizada no município de Lagarto, Sergipe, no ano de 2017. As atividades aconteceram de acordo com as cinco etapas do Arco de Maguerez. Ações de intervenção foram planejadas e aplicadas junto à comunidade escolar para a minimização de questões problemáticas identificadas pelos próprios participantes. Resultados: a ferramenta estimula a promoção da saúde local e impulsionou o desenvolvimento de habilidades na formação em saúde dos acadêmicos envolvidos. Conclusão: construir conhecimento compartilhado, com base na realidade, exigiu criticidade e articulação dos acadêmicos, possibilitou e viabilizou a integração entre ensino-serviço-comunidade.
