INTRODUÇÃO:As leucemias são um tipo de alteração neoplásica que mais acomete crianças e jovens, gerando sofrimento e, geralmente, a morte precoce dessas pessoas. Tal doença, é dividida em várias classificações, como: leucemia linfoide aguda, leucemia mieloide aguda, leucemia linfoide crônica e leucemia mieloide crônica. Essa diferenciação é importante para definir a abordagem terapêutica necessária para aquele subtipo da neoplasia. Desta forma, para auxiliar na identificação dos subtipos de leucemias, é realizado exames complementares, como a imunofenotipagem, sendo considerado método eficiente e prático para diagnóstico, visto que, é possível caracterizar se a leucemia é linfoide ou mieloide, por meio da diferenciação dos marcadores de superfície dos blastos. OBJETIVO: Compreender a importância da imunofenotipagem e o seu papel fundamental na diferenciação do diagnóstico das leucemias. METODOLOGIA: Trata-se de um estudo exploratório, para alcançar o objetivo proposto, foi utilizado as plataformas eletrônicas de artigo como: PUBMED (National Library of Medicine's Medline Biomedical literature). A qual foi utilizado os critérios de inclusão artigos publicados de 2010-2022 com os termos "imunofenotipagem" e "leucemia". Foram retirados da pesquisa os artigos publicados antes de 2010. RESULTADOS: Os estudos selecionados mostraram que as leucemias são neoplasias hematológicas que consistem na alteração dos blastos, a qual durante a indiferenciação é definido se será, potencialmente, mieloide ou linfoide. Essa diferenciação é feita pela maturação e pela quantidade de células marcadoras na superfície dos blastos. A imunofenotipagem é o exame utilizado para fazer essa diferenciação, por mostrar os marcadores específicos que definem cada linhagem de leucemia e a partir dessa identificação é possível definir o tratamento e as medicações mais específicas. Além disso, também é possível avaliar possíveis recidivas e o grau da maturação das células neoplásicas. CONCLUSÃO: Diante do que foi exporto foi possível observar a fundamental importância da imunofenotipagem tanto para diagnóstico das leucemias, como no auxílio para forma de seguimento do tratamento da doença.
As doenças onco-hematológicas são neoplasias que se originam a partir de das células tronco hematopoiéticas, com capacidade proliferativa aumentada e descontrolada que compromete o desenvolvimento de células sanguíneas de linhagens linfoide e mieloide, sendo as maisconhecidas leucemias agudas, linfomas, neoplasia de células plasmáticas, síndrome mielodisplásica, doenças linfoproliferativas e mieloproliferativas crônicas. Em casos de suspeita de uma destas neoplasias é de extrema importância que os exames necessários sejam solicitados precocemente, com o objetivo de realizar um diagnóstico correto e preciso. Os exames mais requisitados para investigação de doençasonco-hematológicas são hemograma completo, mielograma, imunofenotipagem, citoquímica, citogenética e biologia molecular. OBJETIVO: Reunir informações acerca dos métodos diagnósticos utilizados na investigação laboratorial das doenças oncohematológicas. METODOLOGIA: Foi realizada uma revisão sistemática de artigos em portuguêspostados nas plataformas digitais Scielo, Lilacs, PubMed e Google acadêmico, no período de fevereiro de 2022 a fevereiro de 2023, utilizando-se como palavras-chave: exameshematológicos, doenças onco-hematológicas, diagnóstico.Foram incluídos na revisão literária 6 artigos e 3 livros para conclusão do resumo. RESULTADOS: Os estudos selecionados mostraram que o tempo que é feito o diagnóstico é de suma importância, interferindo em todo o tratamento e prognóstico. Dentre os principais métodos diagnósticos, ohemograma, considerado o primeiro exame indicado para observar como está o funcionamento da medula óssea (MO), havendo alguma alteração relevante, outros exames complementares como o mielograma, principal base para o diagnóstico, irá confirmar o tipo de neoplasia, se aguda ou crônica, os testes citoquímicos, responsáveis para definir a diferenciação dos tipos de leucemias. A imunofenotipagempor citometria de fluxo, definirá a linhagem da célula acometida, se linfoide ou mieloide, sendo eficaz no acompanhamento da doença, possibilitando um tratamento mais preciso e a citogenética que definirá o prognóstico eajudará na terapia do paciente. CONCLUSÃO: Diante do que foi exposto, a pesquisa revela os principais métodos dediagnóstico das doenças onco-hematológicas, consideradosfundamentais e primordiais desde a descoberta até o tratamento e controle da doença.
