Departing from the dualism of view where the ikhtiariyah will which is a voluntary will and obligatory will, namely a will that is required by law, the researchers tried to uncover and explore alternative forms of wills for adopted children in era 4.0 by comparing the thoughts of Najmuddin Al Thufi and the Compilation Islamic law. The method in this study belongs to the category of library research (Library Research) where the data and data sources of researchers are obtained from various literatures (books, journals, internet, and other relevant data sources). So this research proves that in the 4.0 era as it is today, the Alternative Form of Will for Adopted Children in Era 4.0 is the concept of benefit, where this concept was coined by Najmuddin Al Thufi, namely this will can be done with a system of peace and the division of inheritance when the heir is still alive. of course by prioritizing the concept of Islam rahmatan lil 'alamin.
