Regression testing as an essential activity in software development that has changed requirements. In practice, regression testing requires a lot of time so that an optimal strategy is needed. One approach that can be used to speed up execution time is the Regression Test Selection (RTS) approach. Currently, practitioners and academics have started to think about developing tools to optimize the process of implementing regression testing. Among them, STARTS and Ekstazi are the most popular regression testing tools among academics in running test case selection algorithms. This article discusses the comparison of the capabilities of the STARTS and Ekstazi features by using feature parameter evaluation. Both tools were tested with the same input data in the form of System Under Test (SUT) and test cases. The parameters used in the tool comparisons are platform technology, test case selection, functionality, usability and performance efficiency, the advantages, and disadvantages of the tool. he results of the trial show the differences and similarities between the features of STARTS and Ekstazi, so that it can be used by practitioners to take advantage of tools in the implementation of regression testing that suit their needs. In addition, experimental results show that the use of Ekstazi is more precise in sorting out important test cases and is more efficient, when compared to STARTS and regression testing with retest all.
Microfinance as a financial institution to fight poverty in rural areas faces challenges to reduce operating costs and to increase effectiveness of their business activities.Information Technology (IT) has emerged as a powerful tool to improve efficiency and effectiveness of business operations, making it viable for the microfinance sector to expand into the rural and low-income area. IT Value implementation became the important concern for the microfinance sector to improve their organizational performance in order to gain competitive advantage. Implementation of the IT value should always be evaluated and continuously improved its performance to ensure the IT application can result in the expected value, control, and aligned with the organization's strategy to get an edge competence that focuses on achieving the business objectives of the organization. This paper tries to explain IT value implementation in the microfinance sector using Enterprise Architecture then performance evaluation using the approach of financial ratios with study case in BPRSC.
ABSTRAKDewasa ini, sebagian besar pendidik di berbagai belahan dunia terus bergiat mencari cara terbaik dalam mengajarkan kecakapan abad XXI (21 st century skills) kepada anak-anak usia sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran pemrograman komputer banyak dipilih karena dapat melatih anak-anak untuk berpikir kritis,belajar menyelesaikan masalah, kreatif dan imajinatif, komunikatif, dan kolaboratif. Kecakapan ini merupakanlimakecakapan utama yang sangat diperlukan pada abad XXI khususnya dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang terkait dengan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Bagi anak-anak, belajar pemrograman komputer dapat menjadi media kreativitas dan inovasi untuk mengekspresikan ideide alamiah mereka. Penelitian ini mengembangkan sebuah framework blended learning dengan mengombinasikan framework analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation (ADDIE) dan framework Information Technology Infrastructure Library (IT-IL). Framework ini digunakan untuk membangun sistem layanan pembelajaran kecakapan abad XXI melalui pemrograman komputer yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan murid sekolah dasar, sekaligus mengelola layanan tersebut agar berkesinambungan dan berkembang terus. Pengujian dilakukan dengan membagikan kuesioner kepada 20 murid sekolah dasar kelas 1 dan 2 pada akhir periode percobaan pembelajaran. Hasil kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa belajar pemrograman komputer dapat meningkatkan kreativitas (85%), melatih berpikir rasional (95%), melatih berpikir kritis (85%), meningkatkan komunikasi aktif (80%), meningkatkan kolaborasi (80%), dan meningkatkan keterampilan murid sekolah dasar dalam menggunakan TIK (100%). Dyslexia is a brain disorder caused by genetics. People with dyslexia can live a normal life and even have certain advantages if they get the correct education. People with dyslexia often get the predicate stupid because teachers do not know the case of their students. Early detection of dyslexic children can be done with a series of tests so that the system can conclude that the data is dyslexic or not. Support Vector Machine is a data classification method to share dyslexia test results or not. This system is trained with test results data that are already available using the SVM method. This study uses gamification data to detect dyslexic children or not. SVM proves a good level of accuracy in predictions up to 94%.
Kaderisasi merupakan agenda yang sangat penting untuk menyiapkan regenerasi yang akan melanjutkan estafet kepengurusan sebuah organisasi. Namun, di tengah situasi pandemik Covid-19, kegiatan kaderisasi mengalami hambatan. Organisasi membutuhkan solusi kreatif agar proses kaderisasi tetap terlaksana sebagaimana mestinya walau di tengah situasi pandemik sekalipun. Salah satu upaya untuk terselenggaranya kaderisasi di saat krisis kesehatan adalah melaksanakan kaderisasi secara daring yang dapat diakses oleh seluruh kader organisasi kapan dan dari manapun selama perangkat kader terhubung dengan Internet. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sistem kaderisasi daring yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan kader organisasi. Sistem menggunakan Learning Management System (LMS) Moodle dengan studi kasus organisasi adalah Pimpinan Wilayah Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PWNA), Jawa Barat. Berdasarkan evaluasi, kader memiliki literasi yang cukup baik dalam memanfaatkan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Sedangkan evaluasi pemahaman kader terhadap materi yang disajikan secara daring dilakukan dengan menjawab soal ujian. Hasilnya, 100% kader mendapatkan nilai di atas passing grade. Sistem kaderisasi ini diharapkan tidak hanya digunakan pada situasi pandemik saja melainkan dapat juga digunakan dalam situasi normal sebagai terobosan organisasi dalam menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan TIK yang semakin pesat.
