The paper provides an analysis of the methodological problems of the subject "Informatics" taught in CIS schools. It analyzes both the content and structure of the subject, as well as its relationship with other subjects taught. The importance of a systematic approach at all stages of teaching computer science, and the need to differentiate subject programs according to the levels of interest and specialization of groups are indicated. The requirements of the conceptual structure of teaching the subject "Computer Science" by age and specialization of student groups are given.
