Los factores de riesgo psicosocial son eje importante en cualquier organización, ellos impactan la salud de los trabajadores y su rendimiento laboral, siendo motivo creciente de preocupación en la sociedad. El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar el nivel de riesgo psicosocial y el perfil socio laboral del personal judicial en instituciones públicas ecuatorianas. La investigación fue no experimental, transversal e inferencial, aplicando pruebas psicométricas a trabajadores (N=3.774) de una institución pública ecuatoriana. Los datos se analizaron con SPSS v22, calculando regresión logística para asociación entre variables de estudio. Los resultados señalan que existe un nivel de riesgo bajo en todas las dimensiones, sin embargo, en el nivel de riesgo alto, se observó una puntuación diferente a cero (0) en las dimensiones liderazgo, condiciones de trabajo y acoso laboral. El liderazgo se asoció con agentes fiscales (p=0,001) y personal de apoyo (p=0,000) en edades de 35-43 años (p=0,015), acoso laboral se asoció con trabajadores técnico/tecnólogos (p=0,035) y de cuarto nivel (p=0,019). Se concluye, que los riesgos psicosociales no reportan niveles importantes en este estudio, no obstante, resulta pertinente considerar factores estresores dentro de instituciones de este tipo en futuras investigaciones.
