This study aims to describe the concept of Islamic education thought by Ibn Sina and Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah. The development of Islamic education thinking is important to improve and develop the quality of Islamic education in schools so that they can compete at the international level. The research method is descriptive qualitative and the data collection technique is a library study. The results of this study illustrate that there are fundamental differences from the concept of Islamic education thought both initiated by Ibn Sina and Ibn Qayyim, Ibn Sina's own thoughts are more inclined to the application of knowledge that is adapted to the age level of the child, while Ibn Qayyim's thinking is more inclined to inculcating values of faith and the use of reason to develop children's thinking horizons. However, the thoughts of the two Muslim figures can still be used as a relevant reference in developing Islamic education in Muslim countries around the world, one of which is in Indonesia.
Covid-19 has many negative effects on education. The government took an emergency policy in the form of school from home. Because of this policy, online teaching and learning activities are carried out from home. However, the reality in the field, such as what happened in SDN 2 Bantarwuni, there are several obstacles such as what happened in the psychomotor domain assessment process in reading surah al-Maidah verses 2-3. This study aims to: (1) Understand how the psychomotor domain assessment process in reading al-Maidah verse 2-3 at SDN 2 Bantarwuni; (2) Understand the conditions and constraints faced in the assessment of the psychomotor domain in reading al-Maidah verses 2-3 at SDN 2 Bantarwuni. This research is a qualitative field research. The method of data collection was done by observation at SDN 2 Bantarwuni and documentation. The results of this study: (1) The assessment process was carried out according to the procedure, except that there were some students who did not submit the assessment assignment; (2) The obstacles faced are the lack of effort from students and parents to collect assignments via the WhatsApp application or directly carry out face-to-face assessments at school.
Bahasa Indonesia merupakan bahasa resmi negara Indonesia yang digunakan sebagai komunikasi dalam keseharian. Sedangkan al-Quran yang diturunkan oleh Allah kepada Nabi Muhammad menggunakan bahasa Arab, maka al-Quran sebagai pedoman umat Islam harus dipelajari di pendidikan Islam dan termasuk di madrasah diniyah al-Quran. Madrasah Diniyah Raudhatul Jannah Singosari merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang pembelajaran al-Quran masih terfokus pada kemampuan membaca, maka harus mengembangkan pembelajaran terjemah al-Quran dengan metode An-Nashr yang dapat memberikan kemampuan mengetahui arti setiap kata dan ayat al-Quran yang dibaca. Tujuan tersebut dapat tercapai dengan dilaksanakannya pendampingan pembelajaran al-Quran metode An-Nashr dengan langkah perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan penilaian pembelajaran. Hasil pendampingan bahwa pembelajaran terjemah al-Quran dengan metode An-Nashr sangat mudah dilaksanakan bagi peserta didik yang telah memiliki kemampuan membaca al-Quran, serta memberikan keterampilan kepada peserta didik untuk dapat menterjemahkan arti setiap kata dan ayat dalam al-Quran yang selanjutnya menjadi modal untuk memahami kandungan isi al-Quran. Sehingga sangat penting bagi lembaga pendidikan al-Quran untuk mengajarkan terjemah al-Quran dengan metode An-Nashr agar fokus pembelajaran tidak hanya membaca al-Quran saja, tetapi juga memahaminya.
In the world of education the dichotomy between religion and general science is no longer a new problem in the Islamic education system. This discourse has emerged for a long time and is still a complex issue that has not been resolved. This is due to the boundary between religious and non-religious studies taught in each educational unit. From this, Fazlur Rahman proposed the idea of reforming all Islamic education systems. What is gained from experience, making observations and various research. So this research focuses on the intellectual biography of Fazlur Rahman, Fazlur Rahman’s educational thoughts and educational thoughts in Indonesia, and the relevance of the two. In this study the authors used data collection methods with documentation methods, which are in data collection techniques in library research (library research).
