Paham toleransi secara bertahap mulai terkikis oleh paham-paham intoleran yang menggerogoti nilai-nilai toleransi yang sudah ditanamkan sejak dahulu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka yang bertujuan untuk menangkap paham toleransi perspektif mufasir nusantara yang terdapat dalam Surat Al-Kafirun dalam Tafsir Al-Burhan karya Abdul Karim Amrullah. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa seruan untuk saling bertoleransi antar umat agama dalam ajaran Agama Islam sudah dipraktikkan dari zaman ke zaman. Adanya individu yang melakukan tindak kekerasan atau aksi terorisme bukanlah bagian dari ajaran yang telah tertuang dalam Al-Qur’an, karena anjuran menebar kasih sayang dan cinta sesama manusia merupakan titik tekan dalam ajaran Islam yang menjunjung tinggi nilai-nilai humanisme dan perdamaian. Sehingga toleransi antar umat beragama secara serius dipraktikkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dalam bermasyarakat yang beragam.
Several verses of the Qur'an, especially those discussing qitāl,, are often used as legitimacy to commit acts of violence and terror. Al-Baqarah 190-193 instructs Muslims to kill non-Muslims in the name of Allah or it is called the Holy War. Several scholars, both salaf and contemporary, have interpreted this verse with various methods and produced various ideas. In this article, the author tries to explain the Isyari exegesis method that has been used by Sholeh Darat in this verse and produces the values of Sufism and non-violence in Islam. With the isyari method, Sholeh Darat interprets the word war or qitāl,in this verse as a war within ourselves. Even though he lived during the Dutch colonial period, he did not necessarily use this verse to inflame the spirit of war but interpreted it with nonviolent values, namely self-improvement through controlling emotions, desires, and lust. This research found that war in the interpretation of Sholeh Darat focused on the spiritual, namely fighting whatever hindered the soul from reaching its God. Besides that, Sholeh Darat's response to colonialism will also be presented. He used a cultural and intellectual approach to fight colonialism rather than physical resistance. Therefore, this study concludes that the Isyari-Sufi interpretation is closely related to the values of peace and non-violence.
The word of qalam in the Quran is mentioned very limited, it is only mentioned four times. In everyday life, the word of qalam is known as a pen or a writing tools, even though if the word is analyzed even further will not have as simple meaning as that. This research tend to analyze the word of qalam in the Quran comprehensively by finding out the signs of the words in some verses of the Quran with semiotics approachment. In this case, the author will utilize the semiotic theory of Ferdinad D Saussure that is binary opposition consist of signifier–signified, langue–parole, syncronic–dyacronic and syntagmatic–paradygmatic to reveal the meaning of the word of qalam in the Quran as a sign. This research is a library research with a qualitative content analysis that analyze a message of a media as an object of the research. The result of the analysis declare that the word of qalam is not only a pen or a writing tools by meaning, but also a pen use by the angels to write down the destiny, a pen of the knowledge or the tools of knowledge including the modern tools, the pen as a comparison of the ability of human beings and the mighty of God, and a pen as a media of lottery or as arrows. This kind of research must be developed recently to prove that the Quran is in line with the development of times, sciences and civilization.
<p class="06IsiAbstrak">As a method of traditional medicine, cupping began to be in great demand by the public. Of course, this is an interesting phenomenon to be discussed. With the development of science, especially in the field of therapy, cupping is combined with modern communication techniques, namely Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). The attempt to combine cupping with NLP is a novelty aspect in the study of cupping. This practice is carried out at Kopsen Rumah Sehat Thibbunnabawi, one of the few cupping clinics that use NLP techniques as a medium. Therefore, this article examines how Neuro-Linguistic Programming becomes a medium used in cupping practice. This research is a type of qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation, and documentation. Using the descriptive analysis method, there were five research informants, consisting of one therapist and four patients. This study found that: first, understanding of text internalization from cupping hadiths is still limited to the patient’s educational background or practical experience of each individual. Thus, various reasons from patients believe in cupping as a treatment. Second, the application of NLP as a cupping medium makes patients more comfortable and confident in doing therapy. Third, the application of NLP might be a solution so that patients who come are healed physically and psychologically.</p><p class="07KatakunciKeywords">[Sebagai metode pengobatan tradisional, bekam mulai banyak diminati masyarakat. Tentu ini menjadi fenomena yang menarik untuk di diskusikan dan dikaji. Terlebih seiring berkembangnya ilmu pengetahuan terkhusus dalam bidang terapi, bekam dipadukan dengan teknik komunikasi modern yakni Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP). Upaya untuk memadukan antara bekam dengan NLP merupakan aspek kebaharuan dalam ranah kajian mengenai bekam. Praktik seperti ini dilakukan di Kopsen Rumah Sehat Thibbunnabawi menjadi salah satu dari sedikit klinik bekam yang menggunakan teknik NLP sebagai medianya. Oleh karenanya, artikel ini mengkaji bagaimana Neuro Linguistic Programming menjadi media yang digunakan dalam praktik bekam. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologis. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian berjumlah 5 orang, terdiri dari 1 orang terapis, dan 4 pasien. Dengan menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa: pertama, pemahaman mengenai internalisasi teks dari hadis berbekam masih sebatas latar belakang pendidikan pasien ataupun pengalaman empiris dari tiap individu. Sehingga beragam alasan dari pasien meyakini bekam sebagai sebuah pengobatan. Kedua, pengaplikasian NLP sebagai media bekam menjadikan pasien lebih nyaman dan percaya diri untuk melakukan terapi. Ketiga, penerapan NLP mungkin bisa menjadi solusi agar pasien yang datang tidak hanya sembuh secara fisik namun sembuh pula dari segi psikologis.]</p>
This article delves into the teachings of Islamic education found in Abdul Karim Amrullah's Tafsir Al-Burhan, specifically referencing QS. Al-'Alaq[96]: 1-5, which was published in 1927. The study was conducted using qualitative research methods and a content analysis approach. The results reveal five key teachings of Islamic education in QS. Al-'Alaq[96]: 1-5, including the importance of remembering Allah in all situations, abandoning pride and envy, teaching the Qur'an to those unfamiliar with the religion, emphasizing the value of literacy, and encouraging continuous learning. These teachings were not arbitrarily developed, but rather rooted in the history of education development in Minangkabau and Abdul Karim Amrullah's background as an educator and educational revolutionary of his time
