This study aims to analyze the average consumption of electrical energy and the Intensity of Energy Consumption (IKE)and the effect of temperature of electrical equipment in the main panel of the AB and AC buildings on the applicable electrical standards in the AB and AC buildings of Politeknik Negeri Malang. From the research, the results of the average consumption of electrical energy in each building are 2591.96 kWh and 1799.74 kWh per month, the value of Energy Consumption Intensity (IKE) is 34.55 kWh / m2 and 34.11 kWh / m2, both results fall into the category of energy use. very efficient, all the equipment in the panels of the two buildings is in good condition according to the PLN SK DIR 520 2014 book, the highest temperature value of the safety equipment is 32.8 ᵒC at NH Fuse T. this is due to the current flowing of 34.29A, the value of the equipment with the lowest temperature of 27.8 C on MCB C16 with a maximum standard of 45 C, the current conductive capacity is still in accordance with using a 2.5 mm2 cable with KHA 46 A, while the load current for each branch is protected by MCB 10 A. For cooling in rooms that use AC The split is 28,000 BTU / hour and it is still below the standard of 38,000 BTU / hour
Nowadays energy has a very important role in the life of human civilization. One of the energy that is still widely used and almost cannot be reduced from the community is electrical energy. Energy audit is one of the processes in managing energy use to become more efficient. The purpose of this study was to determine the potential for energy savings that can be carried out optimally and accurately in Cold Storage, Malang Regency. This study uses data collection methods with Web-based Power Quality Meter PM5110 and account data from energy use during the period June 2020 to May 2021. Data retrieval using a Web-based Power Quality Meter PM5110 which is carried out for 24 hours on weekdays, then the total consumption of kWh in one day reached 119,538 kWh, while the total usage of kWh in one month is 3586.14 kWh for the month of June and for the total usage for the period of one year is 43631.37 kWh. Regarding the value of energy consumption kWh in a period of one year, it can be generated by dividing the total energy consumed by the building in one year by the total gross floor area of the building. Based on the results of the IKE calculation in the Cold Storage Building, Malang Regency from the results before the recommendation of 34.91 kWh/m2/year and for the result after the recommendation is 174,841 kWh/m2/year, which is included in the very efficient category according to the ASEAN USAID 1987 standard. For energy saving opportunities in the lighting system and cooling system, it can be done by using energy-efficient lamps and changing the operating pattern in the cooling room.
Provision of quality and sufficient electrical energy is something that must be done by PT. PLN (Persero). Based on data from PT. PLN (Persero), carried out work on replacing conductors on the Paiton – Kraksaan – Probolinggo transmission line from the TACSR 330 mm2 conductor with KHA 1190 A to 2xACCC/TW Copenhagen with KHA 2016 A. Reconductoring work is one of the efforts to uprating the transmission line by considering increasing load requirements. This reconductoring is carried out using the open circuit method or a total blackout in a circuit where the conductor is being replaced by taking into account the stages determined by PT. PLN (Persero). So that the power flow in the system must be considered when these conditions take place for the sake of service reliability or system reliability using a power flow simulator application, namely ETAP software. The simulation voltage tolerance with actual conditions is 5%. Next, analyze the power flow on the affected transmission line which is directly connected to the Kraksaan – Paiton – Probolinggo 150 kV transmission line based on voltage drop, transmission line losses and loading from each stage. As well as calculating the power transfer capability after and before reconductoring. The results of the simulation show that the most significant anomaly (deviation that should not be) is that there is a critical point loading of up to 89.220% on the Probolinggo - Gondangwetan channel when reconductoring has been carried out except for the Paiton - Kraksaan1 transmission line. Meanwhile, the value of power transfer capability increased after reconductoring, where the Paiton-Kraksaan1 and Paiton-Kraksaan2 channels increased by 63.91 MW, the Kraksaan - Probolinggo1 channel increased by 67.95 MW, and the Kraksaan - Probolinggo2 channel increased by 63.461 MW from previously
