This study aims to discuss Muhammad Izzat Darwazah’s perspective about the sword verses and the issues of its abrogation towards the peaceful verses (ayat al-silm) on al-Tafsīr al-h}adīth Tartīb al-Suwar h}asb al-Nuzūl. This paper focuses on the problem; how is Darwazah’s perspective on the theory of abrogation, that the peaceful verses have been abrogated by the sword verses? Furthermore, how is Darwazah’s perspective on the sword verses and its relation to the peaceful verses from a sociolinguistic perspective? Using a literary research method and a sociolinguistic approach, this article concludes that, according to Darwazah, there is no abrogation of peaceful verses by the sword verses. To prove his point, Darwazah presents the facts and conditions when the sword verses were revealed. This research also concludes that, through sociolinguistic analysis, wars/jihād never occurred during the prophet’s time except for self-defense. Furthermore, Darwazah argues that the sword verses, which are often used by Muslim extremists to legitimize their actions, have a different context from today, when inter-religious communities live peacefully.
The purpose of this study is to measure the level of self-regulated students obtained from their academic achievements when learning to use Moodle virtual learning environment (VLE) in the practice of the solar system. This study involved 37 students of grade IX junior high school in Paiton Probolinggo, of which 18 students in the experimental group studied using Moodle Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), and 19 students in the control group who studied with conventional learning. In this study, students’ self-regulated measures were measured using a 4-point Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that the level of self-regulated students who learn to use Moodle virtual learning environment (VLE) is higher than students who study conventionally.
This is a philological study of the manuscript tafsîr bi al-Imlâ’ surat al-Baqarah Kyai Zaini Mun’im, the first founder of Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School Paiton, Probolinggo. This study deals to discuss systematic, forms, methods, style and ideology that contained in the script of tafsîr bi al-imlâ’ surat al-Baqarah. Having studied manuscript of tafsîr bi al-Imlâ’, it can be identified that: commentaries (tafsîr) of Kyai Zaini used tartib muṣḥafî’s systematic presentation, ra'yî’s form, taḥlîlî’s method, adabî ijtima'î’s style and Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah’s ideology. In addition, this study also found that the interpretation bi al-imlâ’ many affected by tafsîr al-Marâghî of Shaikh al-Marâghî and al-Manâr by Shaikh Muhammad Abduh and Rasyid Rida, in the form of ideas and writing formats. Nevertheless, in some interpretation on certain verses, Kyai Zaini’s interpretation is partly different from the two interpretation above, and it becomes its own peculiarities of the intellectual work of islamic boarding school.
Kota besar seperti Jakarta memiliki masalah dalam mengelola kualitas udaranya. Dampak pencemaran udara akan mengakibatkan menurunnya kualitas kesehatan masyarakat. Dalam rangka pengendalian pencemaran udara diperlukan model jaringan stasiun pemantauan kualitas udara. Penelitian pemodelan jaring stasiun pemantau kualitas udara telah dilakukan untuk mencari lokasi yang potensial bagi stasiun pengamatan kualitas udara yang didasarkan pada model densitas populasi penduduk dan variasi spasial sumber pencemar di wilayah Jakarta. Pemodelan jejaring lokasi berpotensi untuk stasiun pemantauan kualitas udara dilakukan dengan dua pentahapan. Tahapan pertama adalah pemilihan lokasi potensi stasiun. Tahapan kedua adalah penyeleksian lokasi potensi stasiun berdasarkan zonasi, kepadatan penduduk, tutupan lahan sekitar, dan kemudahan akses dan perizinan. Pemodelan jaringan pemantauan kualitas udara menghasilkan luaran zona potensi titik pantau serta 81 titik potensi lokasi pemantauan kualitas udara. Potensi titik-titik tersebut diseleksi dengan mempertimbangkan landuse, jarak antartitik, dan kemudahan perizinan untuk mendapatkan 53 lokasi stasiun pemantauan udara untuk seluruh wilayah DKI Jakarta. Hasil pemodelan ini selanjutnya digunakan untuk menempatkan titik pemantauan kualitas udara pada riset Urban hybriD model for AiR pollution exposure Assessment (UDARA).
Abstract:Of the many topics sciences of the Koran, not a few students of the Koran are less attentive and ruled out a study of the issue of similarity of words (tarâduf) in the Koran. Whereas tarâduf is a phenomenon that occurs in Arabic, even did not rule contained in almost all languages on earth. As an Arabic text, whether the Koran cannot duck and dodge the fact tarâduf growing presence in the Arabic tradition? In other words, if the Koran also collects some words lexical meanings which have in common sense? Or whether every word that has the same meaning in the Koran cannot be equated entirely? Therefore, the wording in the Koran, in addition to having specificity in every meaning also has a different meaning to the other and the word has suitability in order. This article appeared before the readers to explain the words which have been considered to have the same meaning in the Koran from the perspective of linguistic science and the Koran.
