The COVID-19 pandemic makes it possible for increasing the number of stunted children in Jember. So it is difficult to predict the target to reduce stunting. Jember is one of the districts in East Java Indonesia, has a fairly high number of children under five (80,359 people). This study aims to examine the need for developing a nutritional intervention to overcome stunting during COVID-19 in Jember district. This study is a descriptive-analytic study with a qualitative approach in the case of stunting in Jember district. The research was conducted in 4 sub-districts in Jember. The research target of families who have children under five with stunting, the risk of stunting and stakeholders. Data analysis used Precede Proceed theory with five diagnostic phases. The social diagnosis phase describes the quality of life in Jember. The epidemiological diagnosis phase describes the status of the Covid area. The Behavior and environment diagnosis phase describe there is no direct anticipation of COVID-19. The educational and ecological diagnostic phase examines behavior in child care, low purchasing power and access to food availability, policies and sanitation. Administrative and policy diagnosis phases, describe about funds, the lack of covid 19 information and limited health resources in the region.
Setting a diet for people with Diabetes Mellitus is an important element in the management of diabetes. The success level of dietary arrangement depends on the behavior of patients in following the recommended dietary rules. These rules include the food count, type of food and schedule of meals. Knowledge is the main thing that must be possessed in implementing dietary arrangement. Providing information that is usually done is through counseling. Supporting media can also be provided as a support to increase knowledge and make it easier for patients to do a diet. Booklet can be an alternative. The purpose of this study was to determine the properness of booklet based on the assessment of material expert and media expert. This research is research and development or R & D (Research and Development) using the ADDIE model which consists of five steps, namely analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation. In this R & D the researcher developed a health education media in the form of booklet. Furthermore, the booklet was tested by material expert and media expert. The effectiveness of booklet will be tested by giving pretest and posttest and product assessment questionnaire on 10 people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The conclusion of this study is that booklet are made suitable to help diet arrangement for people with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and the level of knowledge of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients increases after giving pretest and posttest.
Kecamatan Silo tercatat dalam laporan EPPGBM per Februari memiliki prevalensi stunting yang cukup tinggi, terutama pada cakupan wilayah puskesmas Silo II sebanyak 1269 balita hal ini dikuatkan oleh data laporan E-HDW (E-Health Development Worker) Kementerian Desa dan PDTT per Maret 2021 bahwa Kecamatan silo berada pada peringkat tertinggi di Jember sebesar 49%. Selama pandemi Covid 19, terdapat kecenderungan penurunan praktik kader dalam melakukan diagnosa stunting. Selama di lapangan, kader memiliki hambatan dalam melaksanakan kegiatan seperti tingkat pendidikan yang masih kurang dan belum mendapatkan pelatihan terhadap tugas sebagai kader secara maksimal, sehingga praktik pelaksanaan seringkali kurang tepat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat gambaran praktik kader dalam menentukan status balita stunting. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengambilan data dengan stratified random sampling pada 40 kader di desa Harjomulyo. Hasil dan pembahasan yang didapatkan menunjukkan mayoritas kader melakukan praktik yang tepat meskipun masih ada beberapa praktik yang kurang tepat seperti praktek kader pada alat antropometri yaitu mencari alas bidang datar yang belum tepat (55%), serta praktek kader pada balita yaitu Memposisikan kaki tidak ditekuk dan lutut sejajar menyatu (55%) dan membaca ukuran setelah memposisikan balita (60%). Akan tetapi dalam melakukan praktik diagnosa stunting, kader mayoritas tidak tepat melakukan diagnosa stunting berdasarkan cut off -2 standar deviasi (57,5%), dimana anak stunting seharusnya ditentukan apabila pengukuran melebihi cut off tersebut.
The number of Entertainment venues in Jakarta increased by 40%. In Jember Regency, karaoke entertainment venues are spread across urban and sub-district areas. Every karaoke place provides a Lady Escort or karaoke guide. The purpose of this study was to explore sexual activity by Lady Escort in the karaoke room. This research uses a qualitative design by studying the role of lady escort in the karaoke business and its effect on health and social issues. The respondents are lady escorts in karaoke houses who have been working for at least one year. The data is collected over six months through observation and in-depth interviews with the lady escorts of karaoke houses. The results of the study: the lady escort looks like sexy girls who guided customers in karaoke. The Activities in the karaoke room such as singing while drinking alcohol and smoking. When accompanying customers, they often receive sexual acts such as being held, hugged, and kissed. A lady escort should obey anything attractive to her. If a lady escort refused, then the customers could get angry. They could continue their sexual activity at another place like in the hotel.
AbstrakObesitas dapat terjadi karena beberapa faktor seperti asupan makanan, faktor genetik, faktor lingkungan, faktor aktivitas fisik, faktor psikis, faktor kesehatan, obat-obatan, dan faktor perkembangan. Kelebihan berat badan tidak hanya terjadi pada orang dewasa dan anak-anak, namun juga pada remaja. Pada penelitian ini, terdapat subjek yang menderita obesitas dengan tingkat konsumsi lebih yaitu sebanyak 30 orang (65,2%). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat konsumsi energi, tingkat aktivitas fisik, tingkat konsumsi cairan dan status hidrasi pada mahasiswa obesitas dan non obesitas. Penelitian ini merupakan studi observasional analitik rancangan cross sectional yaitu membandingkan antara kelompok obesitas dan non obesitas. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh mahasiswa di Jurusan Produksi Pertanian Politeknik Negeri Jember sebanyak 444 baik yang obesitas maupun normal. Subjek yang diambil (sebanyak 46 mahasiswa) pada masing-masing kelompok subjek obesitas dan non obesitas dengan cara simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara kuesioner identitas subjek, form recall 1 x 24 jam, form tingkat aktivitas fisik, form tingkat konsumsi cairan, pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, dan pemeriksaan laboratorium status hidrasi untuk melihat berat jenis urin. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji chi square dan mann withney. Hasil penelitian pada perbedaan tingkat konsumsi energi dan aktivitas fisik pada subjek obesitas dan non obesitas diperoleh nilai p= 0,00 yang artinya terdapat uji beda tingkat konsumsi energi dan aktifitas fisik pada subjek obesitas dan non obesitas. Kemudian pada uji beda tingkat konsumsi cairan diperoleh nilai p = 0,534 yang artinya tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat konsumsi cairan pada subjek obesitas dan non obesitas. Uji beda pada status hidrasi pada subjek obesitas dan non obesitas diperoleh nilai p = 0,356 menunjukkn tidak terdapat perbedaan tingkat konsumsi energi dan status hidrasi pada subjek obesitas dan non obesitas.
