Penilaian kinerja bagi dosen dan merupakan kegiatan yang umum dilakukan oleh sebuah perguruan tinggi, dimana perguruan tinggi mengevaluasi performa dosen dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya. Evaluasi kinerja dosen berkaitan dengan kegiatan belajar mengajar dimana proses pembelajaran dan pelayanan akan mempengaruhi kualitas dari pembelajaran mahasiswa. Sebagai bagian dari sebuah organisasi, penilaian kinerja untuk mengukur ekfektifitas operasional secara periodik berdasarkan standar dan kriteria yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya perlu dilakukan. Fakultas Teknik Untag Surabaya khususnys selalu melakukan monitoring kinerja dosen untuk meningkatkan kualitas internal secara berkelanjutan. Monitoring kinerja dosen ini meliputi monitoring pengajaran, penelitian, pengabdian masyarakat dan penunjang, merujuk dari permasalahan diatas sudah selayaknya dikembangkan sistem informasi penilaian kinerja dosen berbasis web yang memungkinkan kemudahan akses bagi dosen dalam melakukan evaluasi kinerja, selain itu sistem informasi tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai alat untuk mengolah data, melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi kinerja dosen. Diharapkan dengan adanya sistem tersebut menjadikan efektivitas proses penilaian kinerja. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi berbasis web, dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan MySql. Aplikasi ini menghasilkan data yang terupdate dari segi pengajaran, penelitian, pengabdian masyarakat dan penunjang secara berkelanjutan.
Background: Adherence to treatment is the behavior of TB patients to come control in accordance with control schedule in DOTS Poly Dungus Madiun Lung Hospital. Telephone counseling is a communication performed by nurse DOTS Poly Dungus Madiun Lung Hospital to the TB patient or his family using a telephone, with the intention of asking about the state of his illness, current complaints, motivate regularly taking medication, answer patient questions and complaints, and reminded drug taking schedule. Purpose : The purpose of this study is to prove the influence of the provision of telephone counseling by nurses to the compliance of TB DOTS patient control in Dungus Madiun Lung Hospital. Methods : Research design Pre- Experiment with a one-shot case study design. The population is TB Patients treated in poly DOTS from January 2017 to March 2017 with a sample of 15 respondents by purposive sampling. Data collection using a checklist of telephone counseling and checklist the observation of the arrival of the control on time after given counseling via telephone,checklist data was analyzed with Binomial Test. Result : Research result, after counseling via telephone almost all respondents came to the control on time 13 respondents (87%) and there is the effect of telephone counseling by nurses on the compliance of the control of DOTS poly tuberculosis patients at Dungus Madiun Lung Hospital. (Binomial with sig = 0.007 <α = 0.05 then H0 is rejected). Conclusion : Provision of counseling is necessary to improve patient compliance in treatment until completion. With telephone counseling from TB DOTS poly nurse to patient, in addition to more effective communication awakening, as well as motivating patients to adhere to TB treatment programs
Writing is a long process; therefore, students need to do some steps to write, beginning from the considerations of choosing a good topic till writing a final copy, includedto review and to revise again and again, from time to time. Peer and self editing strategies are social and metacognitive strategies used in the steps of sharing, revising, and editing in writing. The aim of writing this article is to see how peer and self editing strategies are able to improve students’ writing skill. Classroom action research design was used and 64 students were taken as subjects of the research. The instruments used were peer editing worksheet, self editing worksheet, and test sheet. Data analysis method used was based on the procedures of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting phases. The research results showed that there were improvementsin all elements of writing: the quality of format, punctuation and mechanics, content, organization, and grammar and sentence structure.Based on the research results shown and the criteria of success determined, it can be concluded that peer and self editing strategies are able to improve students’ writing skill.
Writing essay is still considered difficult forEnglish students to master. The students are expected tobe able to express their ideas correctly without makingany chance of messages to be misinterpreted by thereaders; therefore, they have to know and use the bestor the most appropriate ways to write. The purpose ofwriting this article is to introduce learning strategiesand the possibility of training of learning strategies inwriting essay to English students. The first strategy isintegration of strategy with the process of writing essay:pre-writing, writing draft, and post-writing activities.The second is training learning strategies, such asmemory, cognitive, compensation, metacognitive,affective, and social strategies to students to makewriting essay easier, faster, more enjoyable, moreeffective, and more self-directed to achieve the desiredresult in their writing. To get better result ofimprovement, the model of training of learningstrategies in writing essay should be applied anddeveloped based on the appropriateness of teachers,learners, subjects, and situations.Key words: training, learning strategies, writing essay
