En este trabajo se presenta una experiencia de desarrollo de guion y montaje de una sala de museo, de tipo permanente, sobre la temática de poblamiento indígena de la región pampeana, llevada a cabo en el Área de Museos Municipales de la ciudad de Necochea (provincia de Buenos Aires). Una de las particularidades más destacables del emprendimiento que aquí narramos es que la sala en cuestión fue íntegramente pensada, desde los inicios de la planificación, con el fin de garantizar la accesibilidad a los contenidos para personas con disminución visual, para lo que se desarrollaron y pusieron en práctica diferentes estrategias y dispositivos sensoriales. A lo largo del trabajo, se sitúa el desarrollo de la sala en el contexto general de producción de actividades del Área de Museos de Necochea; se realiza una reflexión sobre los espacios públicos y las cuestiones de accesibilidad, con énfasis en los museos; se describe el marco de trabajo y las decisiones tomadas durante el proceso de guionado y montaje de la sala y finalmente se realizan una serie de análisis sobre la experiencia y su puesta en práctica en el marco de la comunidad local.
