A systematic review and bibliometric study were undertaken utilizing the Science Citation Index Expanded database from 1990 to 2020 to obtain insights into the trajectory of pigment coloration research. The study focused on the publication performance in terms of the yearly production and citations, as well as mainstream journals, categories of the Web of Sciences, leading nations, well-known institutions, and research trends. The survey found that the yearly output of scholarly publications on pigment coloration research climbed gradually throughout the first quarter of the study period and then increased substantially in the latter five years. The present research emphasis and future trends were examined after summarizing the paper title and abstract analyses, author keyword analysis, and the most regularly used keywords derived from words in KeyWords Plus. To expand its reach in numerous application areas, pigment coloration research will continue to focus on improving pigment qualities.
A bibliometric analysis based on the Science Citation Index Expanded database from 1991 to 2020 was performed to obtain insight into the future direction of wound dressing research. The study focused on the publication’s performance in terms of yearly outputs and citations, mainstream journals, categories of the Web of Sciences, top countries, leading institutions, trends in research, and hotspots. A summary of the most commonly used keywords extracted from words in the paper title analysis, authors’ keyword analysis, and KeyWords Plus analysis served as the foundation for determining current research priorities and future trends. The findings revealed that the annual output of the corresponding scholarly articles remained more or less the same during the first decade, followed by a rapid increase in the remaining period of the study. Tissue engineering would be the future of the existing wound dressing research. Biomaterials and electrospinning are gaining importance as raw materials and fabrication techniques for wound dressing. Advanced wound dressings with antimicrobial functionality and sustained drug release properties are becoming a popular research avenue in the wound dressing research field.
Diabetes is a buzzing word nowadays inBangladesh as well as the world. The prevalence and incidence of type-2 diabetics is also increasing in Bangladesh. Secondary data is used in this study. It is anticipated that most patients will fall in the age range of 20-75 years. All patients, who are newly detected diabetes patients, from the year of 2012 of the BIRDEM General hospital in Bangladesh are requested to fill up a form of the Patients History Sheet. The study use bivariate analysis and a multiple regression analysis considering fifteen risk factors as covariates controlling one by one and two hours before fasting blood glucose of type-2 diabetic patients as a response variable. After controlling one by one fifteen risk factors, it is examined that there is relationship between age and type-2 diabetes. Moreover, fifteen models are considered by controlling individual outcomes to find out the confounding factors. Physical activities, occupation, family history of diabetic patients, Systolic Blood Pressure (SBP) (>140mm Hg), and Diastolic Blood Pressure (DBP) (<70 mm Hg) are confounders for the association of diabetes and age among Bangladeshis. None of the model showed the significant effect of sex, marital status, number of family members and smoking status on the relationship.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
