AbstractReinventing some of the key ideas from curatorial history, Candela was created as an institution of what they themselves denominate comensariado within the context of the Masters programme on Contemporary Art History and Visual Culture that takes place at the MNCARS. Through actions like Arte de la Primera Mitad del s. XX1, they strive to subvert the ways in which we approach art, space and architecture, as well as the way we exist inside the institution with the aid of what we could consider parasital practices.
