Ao longo dos últimos trinta anos um novo modelo de desenvolvimento tem sido dominante no mundo rural, particularmente naqueles países que lideram mundialmente as exportações de commodities agrícolas, o modelo do agronegócio. Como parte do atual padrão neoliberal de acumulação capitalista, este modelo de produção agroindustrial intensificou o grau de internacionalização das cadeias produtivas, com um forte monopólio de mercado de grandes empresas transnacionais. Sua difusão mundial, não só implicou transformações significativas no processo de organização da produção, como exigiu a construção de uma arquitetura política, ideológica e discursiva que permitisse que seus representantes disputassem os rumos e os sentidos do desenvolvimento social e econômico do mundo rural do Brasil e da Argentina. Neste sentido, nos interessa neste trabalho apresentar uma caracterização preliminar dos principais espaços de organização e articulação entre lideranças políticas e acadêmicas do agronegócio a partir destes dois países. Em dialogo com o instrumental teórico de Antonio Gramsci, foi realizada uma breve revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema e análise do perfil de alguns aparelhos privados de hegemonia de caráter internacional a partir de fontes institucionais e informações coletadas na imprensa e em páginas da internet especializadas em agronegócio.
Este trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar un diálogo entre el caso brasilero y el colombiano, en relación con la actuación de las clases dominantes agrarias en dos momentos de transformaciones importantes en la vida política de estos países: el proceso de redemocratización brasilera, luego de más de 20 años de dictadura militar (1964-1985), y el proceso de paz en Colombia entre el gobierno y la guerrilla de las Farc-EP (2012-2016). A partir de una contextualización histórica de cada uno de los países, se presenta una caracterización de los repertorios de acción utilizados por los sectores dominantes para garantizar un espacio y una agenda en esos procesos de construcción de pactos sociales. Se concluye que, a pesar de las diferencias históricas y de contexto de cada uno de los casos estudiados, las acciones llevadas a cabo por las clases dominantes agrarias muestran una similitud en su respuesta, con resultados que terminaron por inviabilizar o limitar el alcance de las transformaciones de la estructura agraria.
