Currently, Corona is a hot topic of discussion. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2), better known as the coronavirus, is a new type of coronavirus that causes infectious diseases in humans. The online learning system (on the network) is the answer for universities to continue to carry out academic activities. Online learning is a learning system without face-to-face directly between lecturers and students but is done virtually. Lecturers must ensure that teaching and learning activities continue while students are at home. The solution is that lecturers must be able to design learning activities as innovations by utilizing online media to continue running effectively. Communication between students and lecturers through video conferencing raises several problems: the low creativity of students, the difficulty of achieving communication effectiveness, and generating demotivation and disembodied behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of (1) effectiveness of virtual lecturer communication based on student perspectives, (2) student demotivation, (3) student disembodied behavior, and (4) student creativity. This research uses a descriptive method. The sampling method used is incidental sampling, where the subjects studied are lecturers and students willing to participate in filling out research questionnaires. The number of lecturers in this study was 91 people from 25 universities in the city of Bandung, with a total of 100 courses, so a sample size of 200 sampling units was obtained, where the sampling unit was lecturer-subjects. The results showed that the student creativity variable was in the high category, the demotivating variable was in the low category, the disembodied behavior variable was in the moderate category, and the lecturer's communication effectiveness variable was in the very high category
The purpose of this study was to discuss the development of an Android-based App Pie application as one of the learning media for students of the Welfare Education Study Program. In addition, this study also aims to measure the improvement of student’s learning when using this application. The research method uses a type of development research with the ADDIE (Analyse, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluate) approach to test the effect of the application. The media feasibility test is carried out by material experts and media experts. After learning media is considered feasible, a large group test consists of 30 students who have taken the Child and Guidance Course. The effectiveness test assessment instrument in the form of a questionnaire using the Guttmann scale, to measure 1) Media Functions, 2) Media Images, 3) Media Colours and, 4) Media Posts. The result of the Children Counselling Product effectivity according to the media accept with 4 test indicators yielding an average of 84.07% with a very good category.
Manual pembelajaran mastery learning pada mata kuliah Statistika Pendidikan yang dikembangkan diterima oleh pengguna (3.31), dalam kategori baik dari sisi materi (3.5) dan sangat baik pada sisi media (3.9). Dari ujicoba lapangan, komponen pelaksanaan pembelajaran telah memenuhi semua komponen (10), mampu mendrong perubahan kesadaran belajar mahasiswa (3.07 ke 3.875) dan kinerja akademik (26.88% ke 30.28). Uji beda skor tes formatif di antara dua periode siklus tindakan, menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar statistik tidak menunjukkan perbedaan. Uji efektifitas dengan melaksanakan eksperimen diperoleh hasil bahwa rata-rata hasil tes kinerja untuk kelas eksperimen adalah 75.179 dengan varian 34.23 dan rata-rata hasil tes kinerja untuk kelas kontrol adalah 62.58 dengan varian 66.45, pada taraf signifikansi 0.05, diperoleh thitung (6.754) > ttabel (2.00), menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran mastery learning dikatakan efektif digunakan dibandingkan sekedar simulasi.
ABSTRAK Presentation is an integral part of learning in college. Microsoft Powerpoint and others like to give students the opportunity to make a fully prepared prepared text. Some suggestions for suggestions for improving text presentation slides. The literature review identifies the lack of research that addresses slide text transfer when applied text restrictions on student presentation slides. This article examines the impact of student perceptions on the preparation and presentation quality when applied text restrictions on slides and notes. These findings arise from a descriptive survey that discusses the students' perceptions of their class presentation when text restrictions are imposed both in terms of presentation visualizations and on notes for the final presentation of the course of Research Methods. The 2013 Curriculum on history learning is a contradictive combination between the major tradition and alternative tradition. The major tradition focused in morality inculcation, political history material, clarification teaching method, logical thinking, and morality assessment. Challenges in major tradition implementation are (1) value determination, (2) topics election, and (3) learning climate. Alternative tradition appeared as a critic for major tradition. Alternative tradition itself focused in historical skill, history knowledge, and historical method based on learning principle. The main challenges in alternative tradition implementation are mastery in science and learning methods. The major tradition creates attitude competency, included spiritual and social’s value and morality; and alternative tradition creates knowledge and skill competency.
