O presente trabalho resulta do projeto de pesquisa Júnior desenvolvido no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia (IFCE), campus Juazeiro do Norte, cujo objetivo era o de promover a reflexão sobre a construção da identidade latino-americana por meio da análise musical do movimento artístico cultural “nova canção latino-americana” de 1960. Esta pesquisa está fundamentada nos conceitos de interculturalidade, segundo Kramsch (1993), de identidade de Hall (2015) e Silva (2014) e nos estudos sobre o movimento musical canção de protesta. Os resultados revelam um aprimoramento da língua/cultura espanhola, bem como ampliação dos conhecimentos socio-históricos-culturais da América Hispânica dos participantes, contribuindo, portanto, para a construção da identidade latino-americana.
Este artigo, recorte de minha tese de doutorado, analisa a imagem cultural da América Latina nas coleções didáticas aprovadas pelo Programa Nacional de Livro Didático/2018, desde uma perspectiva intercultural. A pesquisa documental conta com um corpus de nove volumes das coleções Cercanía joven (COIMBRA; CHAVES, 2016), Confluencia (PINHEIRO-CORREA et al., 2016) e Sentidos en lengua española (FREITAS; COSTA, 2016). A análise centrou-se nos diferentes aspectos da construção identitária do latino-americano e nas orientações da perspectiva intercultural de ensino de línguas e orienta-se teoricamente nos estudos da interculturalidade de Candau (2008, 2010), Fleuri (2003, 2012), Mendes (2007, 2011) e Walsh (2005; 2009); nos conceitos de América Latina de Farret; Pinto (2011), Mignolo (2005) e Pizarro (2006) e nas investigações sobre o livro didático de Barros et al. (2018) e Daher et al. (2013). Os resultados revelam um avanço considerável em todas as coleções dos aspectos analisados. Sobre a presença da AL, foi possível verificar a possibilidade de tratar de diferentes conhecimentos que permitem o aluno ampliar seus horizontes e refletir sobre as diversidades que compõem este espaço, e, no que diz respeito à perspectiva intercultural, verificou-se que os textos e as suas atividades tinham um grande potencial para a promoção de uma atitude crítica e intercultural do aluno.
A cinematografia com a sua linguagem imagética universal consegue captar e refletir a realidade circundante. Desse modo, pretendemos analisar as questões relativas à identidade cultural latino-americana a partir do filme equatoriano “Qué tan lejos”, dirigido por Tania Hermida (2006), à luz dos estudos culturais de Hall (2015) e García Canclini (2008), buscando problematizar as diferentes questões históricas, sociais e políticas que possam contribuir para o diálogo, valorização e fortalecimento de uma integração regional neste espaço cultural que é América Latina.
Aprender uma língua adicional trata de aprender uma nova cultura, uma nova forma de ver e interagir com o outro. Nesse sentido, a aprendizagem de língua requer que o aluno desenvolva diferentes habilidades de compreensão e produção – tanto na perspectiva de escrita como de oralidade. Neste trabalho, apresento como foi organizada uma mostra de teatro hispânico no Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, campus Juazeiro do Norte, cujo objetivo foi desenvolver, por meio do teatro, a prática oral em língua espanhola dos alunos e, para além disso, proporcionar uma viagem pelas culturas dos hispano falantes. Como aporte teórico, este trabalho está permeado pelas discussões que envolvem o ensino de línguas no ensino básico (BRASIL, 2006; 2002), a habilidade oral (GÓMEZ, 2004) e o teatro no ensino de língua estrangeira (GRANERO, 2011; LOPES JÚNIOR, 2006). O êxito desta experiência se reflete no envolvimento e participação dos alunos na atividade para um desenvolvimento da língua espanhola em um contexto diferenciado da sala de aula. Com este relato, espero contribuir para a reflexão sobre a importância de se trabalhar a oralidade no ensino de espanhol na educação básica.
