The didactic resources are all the instruments that contribute and facilitate the learning of the student, included in this, the didactic games are great promising of the learning, since, it allows the explanation and revision of the approached content in a simpler and attractive way. With this in mind, this work shows the importance and contribution of the use of the Didactic Game "Plant Dominoes", as an educational tool and facilitator in the improvement of the contents of Briophytes and Pteridophytes. The work was carried out at Aldinar Gonçalves de Carvalho State School, located in the city of Araguatins -TO, in a 7th grade class in the second phase of elementary school II, through the regency period of the Pedagogical Residency Program. It is worth mentioning, that besides the use of the didactic game, exposing the subjects in the classroom, allowing an argumentation and valuing the previous knowledge and the questionings made by the students, enables the reconstruction of knowledge in a more dynamic and interactive way.
