The research analyzes the conditions of bathing in urban leisure areas in the Brazilian steppe, the object of the research was Prainha de Paulo Afonso-BA, Brazil, a place widely used for leisure and tourism by the population of the municipality and the neighboring cities of the states of Bahia , Pernambuco, Alagoas and Sergipe, and to a lesser extent by tourists from various parts of the country. It is observed the existence in the country of legal parameters that regulate the conditions of use of the waters for bathing purposes; yet accompanying the national reality is evident the fragility in the inspection of these norms, constituting this point, at risk the health of the people versus economic return through the generation of income, in a real area of interest of social-environmental management and human ecology. The methodology proposed for the research is the bibliographical research, the case study and the ethnographic research. The objective is to demonstrate, from the normative point of view, the bathing conditions of Prainha de Paulo Afonso. Obtaining as a result the verification of the real conditions of use (leisure and tourism) of that space of entertainment and the recognition of the service, or not, of the normative conditions required by the supervisory body.
People with disabilities have long-term limitations that may obstruct and / or hinder their integration into society. Among the many existing deficiencies is Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), which is a neurological disorder characterized by impaired communication, social interaction, and behavioral change. In this sense, the present work proposes to show the percentage of children and adolescents enrolled in the school system in the city of Paulo Afonso-Ba, in kindergarten, elementary I and II, diagnosed with ASD, besides knowing the history, the diagnosis and the treatment of autism. To this end, a bibliographic search was performed with searches in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) databases, in the CAPES Journal Portal and Google Scholar, using the keywords: autism, ASD, autistic, and search in the Diagnostic Manual and Statistical Analysis of Mental Disorders - DSM V (2013). Then a descriptive analysis of the collected data was performed. However, according to research it is observed that the incidence of autism cases has increased significantly during the last decades.
In this article we seek to analyze the fishing activity of the Colony of Fishermen and Aquaculture Z-86, in the municipality of Gloria, Bahia. Currently with 246 associates, where randomly, 20 families with low educational level and mostly represented by women were interviewed. The study focuses on the analysis of fishing activity, and the management of its resources against large-scale production. The methodology used was bibliographic research, websites and books, as well as technical visits, where two types of semi-structured questionnaires were applied, one for the colony members, the other for the president. The questionnaires contained questions regarding social, technical and economic aspects. The results indicate that artisanal fishing is going through difficult times due to the changes that man, in general, make in the environment, causing environmental impacts and consequently affecting the community economy.
The objective of this study was to analyze the reality and actions of artisanal fishing, covering the historical, institutional and prospective aspects of the sector, highlighting management, regarding the importance of popular participation in more inclusive and democratic management models in the Municipality of Glória- BA. A bibliographic review was carried out using books, monographs, articles and the Internet, thus returning the optics to the fishermen living in the municipality of Glória, Bahia. For this bias, the intention is to return the focus to the artisanal fishing and to make the diagnosis of the ethnoecological profile of the artisanal fishermen of this area, with the purpose of studying possibilities of improvement for this activity. It was possible to conclude when studying the relations of popular knowledge and ecology results in the wellbeing of these riverside, and a better handling in the environment.
