The purpose of this study is to present an overview of implementation of the national curriculum into the operational curriculum in accordance with the notion of multiple intelligences theory. As data sources, Laboratory Elementary School of Indonesia University of Education, 471 pupils, and 31 teachers participated in the mixed-methods study. Observation, testing, and in-depth indirect communication were used to acquire the data. Observation sheet was used to collect qualitative data on the implementation of the national curriculum into the operational curriculum of the school, Student Self-Multiple Intelligence (SSMI) was used to collect quantitative data on students' Multiple Intelligence scores, and Open-Minded Sharing (OPM) was used to collect quantitative and qualitative data on the impact of the teacher's actions on students. The results demonstrated that the implementation of the national curriculum in the form of an operational curriculum based on multiple intelligences theory showed that the Laboratory Elementary School of Indonesia University of Education is concerned with moral and spiritual values in order to instill noble morals in its pupils, and that it has been successful in assisting its children with the development of various intelligences. We conclude that it has an impact on the characteristics of the school and the learning process which both its own uniqueness.
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada tema udara bersih bagi kesehatan, Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan bentuk penelitian quasy eksperimental design menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control grup design. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sintang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan sampling jenuh, yaitu siswa kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen, sedangkan siswa kelas VB sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi langsung, teknik pengukuran, teknik komunikasi tidak langsung. Alat pengumpulan data berupa lembar observasi, soal tes, dan angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran jigsaw berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Hal ini dapat ditunjukan menggunakan SPSS 23 dengan nilai sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 yang berarti kurang dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) artinya 〖 H〗_a diterima. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada tema udara bersih bagi kesehatan di kelas V SD Negeri 2 Sintang tahun pelajaran 2019/2020.
The purpose of this quasi-experimental research was to reveal the JiRQA learning supports on biology students' achievement in the multi-ethnical classroom in higher education. The research sample was included 125 students consisting of the ethnics of Dayak, Javanese, and Malay. The achievement data were obtained from the pretest and posttest using an essay test and analyzed by using ANCOVA at the level of significance 5%, followed by LSD test. The analysis results show that the achievement in JiRQA learning is 30.91% higher and significantly different from that of conventional learning. The achievement of Dayak ethnic students is 20.30% higher from the Javanese ethnic and 19.53% from Malay ethnic. The achievement among ethnics in JiRQA learning was not significantly different, but significantly different in conventional learning. Therefore, JiRQA learning has the accommodate biology students' achievement in the multi-ethnical classroom.
The purpose of this research is to describe the factors that affect mathematics learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 01 Nanga Merakai Academic Year 2019/2020. This research uses qualitative research methods with a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study research form. The research sample consisted of 16 student of class 5th at public elementary school 01 Nanga Merakai. Data collection tools in the form of interview guidelines, questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis through several stages of data collection, data persentation, data reduction and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) Inhibiting factors affecting mathematics learning outcomes were divided into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. (2)  Supporting factors for mathematics learning outcomes, the research results are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors.
Critical thinking skills and students' understanding are the supporting factors in students’ learning success. This research aimed to determine the contrıbutıon of critical thinking skills for the understanding on human digestive system concepts when contextual teaching and learning (CTL) was implemented. The samples were 45 students consisting of public junior high schools 2 and 5 class VIII A at Sungai Tebelian. The instrument of critical thinking skills were essay test totaling of 6 items and to measure the understanding on human digestive system concepts, 20 items of multiple choices test were used. Research data were analyzed using a simple regression correlation analysis. The results showed a significant correlation of critical thinking skills to the understanding of human digestive system concepts. The regression equation of the correlation between the two variables was Y = 0.736X + 22.861. The correlation coefficient was 0.640, with the contribution the critical thinking skills to human digestive system concepts of 41.00%. These results showed that there was a significant correlation between critical thinking skills and human digestive system concepts when CTL was implemented in learning. Thus, biology teachers need to develop students’ critical thinking skills through the implementation of CTL in learning.
This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of online learning in fifth grade students of Bethel Elementary School. This type of research is a qualitative research whose results are described, the study consists of 5 people, 4 students and 1 class teacher. Data collection techniques using direct observation techniques, direct communication techniques, and documentation techniques. Data collection tools in the form of observation sheets, interview sheets, field notes, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman analysis techniques through data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. The validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the study show that: 1) the implementation of online learning for students includes three stages: a) through planning, namely compiling the syllabus and lesson plans regarding the material to be delivered through online learning, b) implementation of the preliminary, core, and closing activities by providing motivation, advice, and giving assignments during the online learning process. 2) the impact of the implementation of online learning on students, namely the limited use of the internet and difficulty understanding the material presented by the teacher. The impact for teachers, in preparing for learning is less than optimal and teachers are required to be able to carry out online learning, even though some of these teachers are still lacking in the use of technology. 3) the responses of teachers and students after carrying out online learning, regarding the implementation of online learning that the implementation of online learning is distance learning, can be carried out anywhere, difficulties in using networks, teachers lack mastery in the use of technology, and teachers feel there are limitations in the delivery of the material being taught . In conclusion, the implementation of online learning is learning that is carried out within the network (online) using the Whatsapp application
ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil belajar matematika berorientasi order thinking skills di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 01 Nanga Merakai. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas V yang berjumlah 16 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Alat pengumpulan data menggunakan pedoman wawancara, kuesioner dan dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan melalui 4 tahap yaitu pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika berorientasi order thinking skills, pada materi “Pengumpulan dan Penyajian Data” menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa berada pada kategori sangat baik dan sudah sampai pada level C4 atau Higher Order thinking skills dengan persentase 85,71% dan persentase jumlah siswa sebesar 62,50% atau 10 orang dari total jumlah keseluruhan siswa berada pada level C4 atau Higher Order thinking skills.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar Matematika, Order thinking skills ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe learning outcomes oriented to order thinking skills in mathematics at Public Elementary School 01 Nanga Merakai. Indigenous knowledge regarding plant and animal knowledge as traditional medicine in the Tamambaloh Dayak community in Labian Ira'ang Village has been passed down from generation to generation. The aim of the researchers is to explore the ethnography of the sources of animal and plant knowledge as traditional medicine in the Tamambaloh Dayak community, Labian Ira'ang Village. Data processing was carried out qualitatively using data mapping and data reduction techniques. The results of data processing are presented in the form of data presentations by displaying comprehensive data and the results of the research are presented in a qualitative descriptive manner. The study involved two traditional healers or medicinal shaman as subject I and eight people with disease who were purposively selected to be subject II divided into two categories, namely external disease and internal disease. The results of the research show that the source of knowledge about plants and animals as traditional medicine is obtained through ancestral revelations given in dreams as evidenced by the presence of supernatural shamanic insights from elders and obtained from the family tree.
