The cat inside the box is an allusion to Schrodinger's cat, that is dead and alive at the same time (that is, in quantum superposition of both states). Similarly, the circuit in the cover represents one of the readings that is possible for the phrase, whose representation can also be in quantum superposition with that of the other reading.
