A seringueira, Hevea brasiliensis, é nativa da região Amazônica e a espécie mais importante do gênero. O estado de São Paulo é o maior produtor nacional com uma área plantada de cerca de 90.000 hectares. Por muito tempo as mudas de seringueira foram produzidas diretamente no solo ou em sacolas plásticas com substrato a base de terra de barranco sem tratamento, o que propiciou a disseminação de pragas e patógenos do sistema radicular. O objetivo do presente estudo foi determinar a incidência de fitonematoides em seringais do estado de São Paulo. Foi realizada a amostragem de 75 seringais distribuídos em 64 municípios do Estado, no período de 2011 e 2012. As amostragens foram realizadas em solo e raiz de seringais georreferenciados, com mais de oito anos de produção, formados com diferentes clones, com predominância do clone RRIM 600. As amostras foram acondicionadas em sacos plásticos, etiquetados e encaminhadas ao Laboratório de Nematologia da FCA/UNESP, Botucatu, SP, onde foram processadas para extração dos nematoides. Pratylenchus brachyurusfoi encontrado em 66% dos municípios amostrados. Nematoides do gênero Meloidogyne,tiveram ocorrência em 49,3% dos municípios. Os nematoides dos gêneros Rotylenchuluse Paratrichodorusforam detectados em 5,3% e 2,6% das amostras, respectivamente. Representantes da família Criconematidae foram encontrados em 1,3% dos seringais amostrados. De acordo com os resultados obtidos, observa-se que P. brachyuruse o gênero Meloidogynejá se encontram distribuidos na maioria dos cultivos de seringueira do estado, porém, em nível populacional relativamente baixo.
A soja é considerada uma das mais importantes culturas do agronegócio no Brasil. Os levantamentos populacionais de fitoparasitos, é uma ferramenta importante na presença de nematoides e na detecçao dos prejuizos. O presente estudo teve como objetivo, utilizando como ferramenta, a geoestatística, verificar a variabilidade espacial de Meloidogyne javanica em duas lavouras de soja, uma apresentando plantas com sintomas característicos do parasitismo do nematoide e outra área com plantas sem sintomas. O estudo foi realizado no município de Araruna, estado do Paraná, ambas cultivadas com soja cultivar BMX Potência RR. Coletaram-se solo e raiz seguindo malha irregular de 50 pontos georreferenciados. Para verificar a existência e estimar o grau de dependência espacial entre as populações, utilizou-se a análise geoestatística. Após o ajuste do variograma foi realizado a krigagem e sequencialmente o mapa de distribuição espacial de nematoides nas áreas. Na área apresentando plantas amareladas e com tamanho reduzido, em 60% das amostras foi detectado a presença de M. javanica, sendo que a população obtida variou de 0 a 70.992 nematoides em 10g de raiz, com média de 3.807. O variograma ajustou-se ao modelo esférico, com alcance de 30,80 m e dependência espacial de 86%, nesse caso seria necessária a coleta de nove subamostras para representar um hectare de forma satisfatória. Na área onde não foram observadas plantas com sintomas visíveis, 38% das amostras estavam com M. javanica, e com baixo nível populacional. A população obtida variou de 0 a 2.184 nematoides em 10g de raiz, com media de 262. O alcance obtido foi de 11,60 m, com dependência espacial de 99% e ajuste ao modelo gaussiano, já nesse caso, seria necessária a coleta de 74 subamostras para a representação satisfatória de um hectare. A análise geoestatística mostrou-se eficiente para estudos de distribuição espacial de nematoides fitoparasitas. RESUMO Tylenchulus semipenetrans é o principal nematoide em citros, amplamente disseminado nos pomares citrícolas brasileiros, causando perdas que variam de 10 a 30%. Assim, o objetivo dessa pesquisa foi estudar o comportamento de T. semipenetrans em pomar de 14 anos de laranja ‘Pera Rio’ enxertada em limoeiro ‘Cravo’, determinando sua flutuação populacional e correlacionando a produção com os níveis populacionais do nematoide. As amostragens foram realizadas no final de cada estação climática, em dois períodos, um de setembro de 2011 à junho de 2012 e outro de março à dezembro de 2013, numa profundidade de 0-30 cm em 10 plantas sem sintomas, 10 plantas com sintomas e suas adjacentes, totalizando 60 plantas . Os nematoides presentes no solo foram extraídos pela metodologia de flutuação em centrifuga e das raízes pela técnica do liquidificador e centrifugação. Na safra 2012/2013, os frutos de cada planta foram colhidos e pesados. O número de nematoides no solo e na raiz foram plotados em gráficos e correlacionados com dados de temperatura e precipitação pluviométrica pela análise de Pearson; enquanto que os dados de peso de fruto por planta e número de nematoides em solo e raiz, de cada época, foram transformados e submetidos à análise de correlação de Spearman (P=0,05). O maior nível populacional de T. semipenetrans ocorreu no final do inverno e o mais baixo no final da primavera, sendo mais comumente encontrado nas raízes. Temperaturas na faixa de 20oC são favoráveis para melhor desenvolvimento de T. semipenetrans.

Várias espécies de fitonematoides já foram relatadas em pomares de citros, porém poucas são consideradas praga-chave para a cultura. No Brasil, Tylenchulus semipenetrans é o principal nematoide em citros, amplamente disseminado nos pomares brasileiros. Diferentes variáveis são utilizadas para determinar o nível de dano desse nematoide. Sendo assim, esse experimento teve por objetivo correlacionar o número de fêmeas com o número de juvenis de T. semipenetrans em amostras de solo e raiz de laranja 'Pera Rio' enxertada em limoeiro 'Cravo'. O trabalho foi realizado em pomar de 14 anos, localizado na Fazenda São Gabriel, distrito de Vitoriana, município de Botucatu - SP. A coleta das amostras foi realizada em setembro de 2011, numa profundidade de 0-30 cm, em 10 plantas sem sintomas, 10 com sintomas e as adjacentes das plantas sintomáticas, totalizando 60 plantas. Para extração dos nematoides presentes no solo seguiu-se a metodologia de flutuação em centrífuga e para a dos nematoides nas raízes seguiu-se a técnica do liquidificador e centrifugação. Para contagem das fêmeas, 1 g de raiz de cada amostra foi colorida. Os dados de nematoide no solo, nematoide na raiz, soma de nematoide no solo e raiz e fêmeas por grama de raiz foram submetidos à análise de correlação de Pearson e posteriormente à análise de matriz de correlações. Dentre os dados analisados, pode-se verificar uma forte correlação entre o número de juvenis presentes na raiz e a soma do número de juvenis no solo e na raiz. Entretanto, não foi constatado correlação desta variável com o número de fêmeas na raiz e o número de juvenis no solo. O número de fêmeas na raiz não apresentou correlação com nenhuma das outras variáveis analisadas. Conclui-se que a melhor variável para determinar a população de T. semipenetrans é o número de juvenis por 10 g de raiz.
