Résumé.· La morphogenèse du rhizomorphe souterrain a été étudiée par une méthode de culture en caisson à brouillard.Les résultats obtenus ont mis en évidence l'existence d'une hiérarchie entre les différents systèmes rhizomorphiques, reposant sans doute sur un déficit nutritionnel.Il n'existe pas de dominance apicale sensu stricto au sein d'un système rhizomorphique, car les vitesses de croissance des axes et des ramifications sont tout à fait comparables. La hiérarchie du système porte sur le diamètre des organes.Les expériences de décapitation n'ont jamais démontré que l'axe principal était un organe dominant par rapport aux ramifications.La vitesse de croissance et le développement des organes secondaires sont déterminés très tôt et leur avortement semble être un phénomène aléatoire.Summary.· Growth and branching of the subterranean rhizomorphs of Armillaria bulbosa (Barla) Romagn. were studied in mist chamber conditions. Apical dominance was not observed. Growth rates of the axis and its ramifications were similar. The growth rate of each growing point was under the correlative control.
