Abstract-The land of Dieng Plateau managed by the farmers in not sustainable way and now it's faced environmental problems, mainly erosion. This research aim to analyse the impact of potato farm that caused environmental degradation and the implementation of carica agroforestry in Dieng Plateau to reduce degradation. The method of this research is analysing qualitative and quantitative data from observation, interview, and literatures study. The result of this research proven that the rate of erosion can be reduced by the using of agroforestry, the erosion rate decrease from 463.86 tonnes/hectares/year to be 115.96 tonnes / hectares / year (estimation data by using USLE formula). The using of agroforestry had improved the people's welfare. Agroforestry brings more benefit than potatoes monoculture system. This project is very sustainable and will not make any compromising for the Dieng's future generation.Index Terms-Dieng Plateau, potato farm, environmental degradation, carica agroforestry.
In Malaysia, a new regulation of traffic offences demerit points has been over a debate. Therefore, a blockchain model is formulated to solve this issue. It serves a purpose to be a Proof of Work (PoW) of a blockchain system. This model contains application layer and blockchain layer with smart contract inside. The smart contracts act as a conditional filter which follows the regulation rules. It contains three contracts starting from the declaration of each offence's demerit points and fines until the penalties when a certain amount of demerit points is collected, including revocation of driver license. The contracts will be automatically executed when such conditions are fulfilled. A transaction schema is also designed to match the schema of a traffic offence system. This model is deployed in online environment with two servers synced to each other to prove the decentralized characteristic of blockchain. It is developed using NodeJS while preserving JSON format for transaction between server and client. A user interface is also provided as a simulation media where a traffic officer can input offences and send it to blockchain server while public users or the driver itself can check the status of the driver license recorded on the blockchain. Government officer can monitor the records through a dashboard analytics provided which contains graphs and charts based on the records. This interface is used as media to do evaluation which produces satisfying results. The evaluation shows that the smart contracts are executed properly as compared to real regulations.
This study seeks to examine the practice of decentralization as a good lesson in Indonesia. This is done by analyzing whether decentralization can be an effective development solution in developing countries through the identification of several reviews of the problems that arise in it. By using a descriptive-qualitative approach, the research presents and describes a phenomenon in its entirety with the author's interpretation. The results of this study found several important things. The case of Indonesia shows that the problem of the minimum quality of apparatus resources in the regions is still a problem in achieving optimal regional autonomy. Strengthening the management of the apparatus in the regions systematically and equally in this case is an effort that must be made to support the practice of decentralization. In addition, providing political education to civil society to encourage the maturity of society in democracy is a strategic step that can be taken to ensure the political commitment of the government in the regions in realizing decentralization practices that lead to the goal of accelerating development based on the principles of justice and the facilitation of democratic values.

This article attempts to analyze various obstacles related to the minimal contribution of Indonesian R&D Program in supporting the economic sector and national competitiveness. This was done through a review of the implementation of the document of the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) in the S&T Sector for 2015‒2019 periode. The analysis was carried out using the Grindle policy implementation model. The study shows that there are four main factors that hinder the implementation of the R&D program, such as 1) the lack of integration of R&D execution between LPNK and technical ministries, 2) R&D program planning which tends to be technology supply-push, 3) the absence of an appropriate evaluation mechanism to measure the achievement research in support of the economic sector, and 4) limited on research budget resources and its diffusion.

Objective: This study is aimed to examine the development of entrepreneurship to improve welfare in Jatimukti village, Sumedang Regency, is one form of activity in the economic field by empowering rural communities. Efforts to encourage the development of entrepreneurship in the village can be done by synergizing the existence and role of the stakeholders, including the village government with universities. Methodology: In the research process, the method used is qualitative, where data research is obtained from interviews and observations. The collected data is then classified based on its type, after that the verification and validation process is carried out through triangulation techniques. Main Findings: The results of this study indicate that the synergy between institutions in encouraging the development of entrepreneurship in Jatimukti village community, especially between the village government and universities, is important.
