Deradicalization should be carried out as far as possible to find out the background of the involvement. The formulation of the problem in this study; how the deradicalization strategy and the implications of the program. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. This study shows that Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs is a strategic step taken by the Lingkar Peace Foundation through ideological development, assistance to convict families and economic recovery. In Indonesia, we often hear about corruption. Corruption is a form of human action that can be categorized into bribery, manipulation, forgery and others, this is a serious case. In Indonesia, we often get government officials who commit corruption for personal gain. Although in Indonesia there is a corruption eradication commission (KPK) and there are laws in Indonesia that regulate corruption, one of which is Law no. 31 of 1999 and Law No. 20 of 2001. If you look at the impact of this act, it does not only concern the mental and morality of the perpetrator, but also the related public interest. Many of the joints of social life in Indonesia are not based on values. Pancasila, especially the first principle. Which of course contradicts the objectives of Islamic law. Fighting corruption is the responsibility of all components of the state, in Islam it is also prohibited to commit acts of corruption.
Deradicalization is interpreted as a step to return the paradigm of exclusivity towards an understanding of inclusiveness. However, in practice, deradicalization is only carried out at a normative level, namely changing the paradigm. In fact, if explored more deeply, deradicalization should touch the background of the involvement of terrorist groups. This study not only discusses the steps of deradicalism as a form of guidance and protection for former terrorists so that they can be rehabilitated but also provides an ideal deradicalization solution by exploring the motives of the aspects that influence it. This research was conducted at the Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation, one of the institutions that participated in the deradicalization program, thus presenting two questions; what is the deradicalization strategy at the Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation, and how the implications of this deradicalization are carried out. To obtain these answers, this study used descriptive qualitative methods by conducting interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection tools. This research shows the strategy carried out by the Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation into three things; first, through ideological development, assistance to families of ex-terrorist convicts, and economic recovery. All of these strategies are measured based on needs, as Abraham Maslow's theory regarding the hierarchy of needs, the availability of the above needs is intended so that they do not repeat the terror in their past, this will change the perspective of extremist ideology to a tolerant ideology. The implications of deradicalization at the Lingkar Peace Foundation are marked by the opening of an inclusive understanding that accepts all forms of differences in religious views and believes in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia as the legitimate homeland.
This study aims to analyze the deradicalism and terrorism efforts of the Indonesian government as a form of guidance and protection for former terrorists so that they can be rehabilitated both their actions and paradigms, so that there are no more attempts to discriminate and intimidate terrorist perpetrators and families in the community. This research offers a different offer in fostering a more inclusive paradigm to terrorist actors. This study used qualitative descriptive method. The strategy carried out by the Lingkar Perdamaian Foundation is through ideological development, assistance to prisoner families and economic recovery, so this step has implications for recognition of the Republic of Indonesia and religious tolerance.
The “Metal” Islamic boarding school was established with a very humanistic purpose. While some educational institutions only accommodate students excelers, superior, smart and have character. The “Metal” person boarding school is present as a place that accommodates students with various social backgrounds, ranging from druging addicts, homeless people, free sex victims, until toddlers who deliberately abandoned their parents. Seeing the arrogance and inequality of education while this time, making the “Metal” person boarding school take a very meaningful role for them to be formed into people who have character. Because education is the right of all humans without having to look at the status of his past. Rahmatan li al-'alamin Islamic education in the “Metal” person boarding school have an impact on the character of students who are able to make them as perfect people.
