Knowledge is an ability that students must possess in solving various problems and applying them in everyday life. This study aimed to determine how far the Effectiveness of knowledge variables for students in the learning process. This study uses the ADDIE development model. with the instrument in the form of a questionnaire consisting of 2 constructs. The survey study was carried out by involving ten teachers from various schools. Data collection techniques were carried out by filling out online questionnaires, which were then analyzed with the help of the SPSS program. The results of the research prove that: 1) the preparation and development of the evaluation of the problem variable instrument in the media for students in this study was carried out by testing two research constructs, namely 1) the accuracy of the variable and 2) the Effectiveness of the variable. As well as the results of testing the validity and reliability indicate that the data validity of the evaluation instrument meets the valid criteria. This research shows that the developed instrument meets the requirements for use in media development in the form of an e-module.
The Open University is a university that has been around for a long time, so that it is able to develop a learning process that demands the development of science and technology, both online and offline independently. Therefore, this study aims to describe and analyze the process and results of the development of a virtual science laboratory to support UT’s role as a pioneer of cyber-university in Indonesia. This research is a development-research that uses the ADDIE model. The instruments used were validation sheets filled in by 64 validators, practicality sheets and effectiveness sheets filled out by 237 respondents. The data analysis used to answer the research objectives was descriptive and inferential statistical tests using the IBM SPSS 23.00 program. The results showed that product development in the form of textbooks based on the virtual laboratory of science met the valid, practical and effective criteria for use in the process learning. The results of this study have implications for stakeholders and teachers to be able to implement this media in a more appropriate and interesting learning process and can be a source of inspiration for conducting current research.
Problems that are often faced by educators in measuring the level of understanding of students' concepts are questions that are made to have a low cognitive level and short answers which make the questions unable to properly measure the students' understanding. This study is useful in describing how the feasibility of a concept understanding assessment instrument is. The research design in this study is Research and Development based on the Borg & Gall model by only carrying out 5 steps due to several reasons. The subject of this research is an instrument for assessing the ability to understand concepts. The results of the analysis of the 12 assessment questions are feasible to use because they have a validity value of 0.56 with a "enough" category and a reliability value of 0.72 with a "enough" category and can be said to be a valid research instrument. And because there are 3 questions that have a negative significant value (-) then questions number 2, 10 and 12 are omitted so that this instrument is more valid.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
