Posto que os videogames são artefatos que medeiam relações sociais amplas como as partilhas de gênero e suas relações com as religiões, o objetivo do presente artigo é estudar os cruzamentos entre discursos sobre a masculinidade mórmon em Fallout: New Vegas. Assim, observaremos como determinadas formas de performatização de gênero a partir da religião se materializam na cultura pop. Utilizaremos os pressupostos metodológicos da análise de discurso de Linha Francesa, a partir da noção de que todo discurso se gera e adquire especificidade a partir da uma relação com outros discursos no interior de um campo interdiscursivo. É possível observar, no jogo, a estetização da masculinidade mórmon a partir de figuras abjetas e a valorização da liderança masculina nas missões evangelizadoras e nos processos de julgamento e de auxílio para a redenção.
