Understanding human resource development strategies in good governance service practices are essential. For this reason, we have reviewed several study pieces of evidence to add to the enrichment of our study. The reading sources we are looking for are data-based sources from Google scholars, ERIC publications, and other literature sources. Furthermore, we take the analysis stage by involving the coding system, evaluation, data extract, in-depth interpretation, and drawing conclusions that are valid findings and high reliability because these findings have answered the questions and danced the hypothesis of this study. We depend on secondary data and descriptive qualitative study designs. Based on the discussion of the findings data, we can conclude that the HR governance strategy working in public service organizations is not only required for superior competence, technical skills, and mastery of the underlying laws and regulations, but they are state apparatuses that are even more crucial in shaping mental and behavioral professional, friendly in nurturing, honest, sympathetic, wise, intelligent, and highly responsible.
Purpose The purpose of this paper is to do an in-depth comprehension about local wisdom values related to the forest management in Nagari Koto Malintang, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency, West Sumatra Province, and to find a communication model in the forest management based on environmental awareness. Research on indigenous forest management has been widely done, but information related to information flow and communication pattern of indigenous people in conveying local wisdom values to the management of forests is little to find. Design/methodology/approach The design employed in this research was case study and field research. Field research is the research to intensively examine the background of current state of the environmental interaction according to these social units: individual, group, institution or society. The research was undertaken in Nagari Koto Malintang, Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency. The location selection was conducted purposively under the preserved condition of the forests in Koto Malintang, despite the damages occurring to most of forests in Indonesia. The preserved condition of Nagari Koto Malintang forest is characterized by many trees with diameter of 2–3 meters left undisturbed by the communities, so that they are protected from the danger of landslides. The determination of informants in this research was made by purposive sampling. Findings The community and government of Nagari Koto Malintang has arranged the space and land of Nagari, by making a division as follows: the upper area is made into catchment area, middle area is made into a plantation area and settlement area and the lower area is made into cultivated land. The ecologic benefits of the forest for the community of Nagari Koto Malintang are: liberating the community from the threats of flood and galodo, providing sufficient water availability, providing good air quality and maintain and preserve flora and fauna. The perceived economic benefits are: the availability of adequate irrigation for agriculture, plantations, tabek and ponds of which crops provide economic benefits to the community. Socially, forests make the community members’ relationship grow closer, improve community participation in forest management, create jobs and maintain local knowledge and institutions. Originality/value This is one of few studies resulted from different customs and norms of each indigenous community, thus it is necessary to study the uniqueness of Nagari Koto Malintang community in managing the forest. This research was conducted to obtain complete description of how indigenous people of Nagari Koto Malintang community build communications and disseminate information related to wisdom, thus giving rise to common awareness in the sustainable forest management and ultimately bringing up a model of forest management communication.
This study discusses the strategy for managing the Ecotourism potential of the Gagak River that's located in Koto Mesjid, Kampar. The ecotourism management strategy is based on Joint Tourism, which is managed by youth who are members of the Kelompok Sadar Wisata Pemuda Komppak. This strategy developed through several approaches to market and promote tourism to increase the number of tourists that visit and very suitable to be developed in the Gagak River Ecotourism, considering its location far from settlements and in the forest, so to reach outside tourists, it's necessary to create a strategy that connects the Gagak River with other tourism in Koto Mesjid. The research method used is an ethnographic study in which researchers live in for two months. Data were collected using ethnographic method such as field observations, in-depth interviews, and distributing questionnaires to discover why visitors came to Sungai Gagak. The results of this study indicate that the Joint Tourism-based Gagak River ecotourism management strategy that connects the Gagak River with other tours in Koto Mesjid Village such as Puncak Kompe and Lembah Aman to mutually become the key to the success of Gagak River ecotourism so as to attract daily tourists reaching 50-100/per day..
Keberadaan masjid dengan ruang terbuka hijau telah menjadi hal yang lazim terdapat di berbagai kota di Indonesia. Dikarenakan dua objek vital tersebut memiliki keuntungan tersendiri yang didapatkan. Dengan adanya masjid, para pengunjung taman kota (RTH) mudah untuk melakukan ibadah, disisi lain dengan adanya taman kota, memberikan dampak terhadap penambahan jemaah masjid dan kegiatan sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah memahami kajian aksiologi Max Scheler dalam pemaknaan nilai jemaah Masjid Al Fallah Darul Muttaqin terhadap keberadaan RTH Putri KacaMayang di Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah terdapat tiga klasifikasi nilai dalam kajian aksiologi Max Scheler dapat dilihat dari tiga nilai tergambarkan dan satu nilai tidak tergambarkan. Tiga nilai tersebut adalah nilai kesenangan, nilai vital, dan nilai rohani.
It is suspected that there is a potential human rights abused against woman prisoner’s reproductive health in Riau Province’s prisons. This research aims to identify human rights abused related woman prisoner’s reproductive health and found the affort to reduce it. The methods used to collect the data are interviews, documentation and observation. While Focus Group Discussion (FGD) conducted as part of the analysis stage interactive model (Miles and Huberman). The results showed that there is a potential human rights abused related to woman prisoner’s reproductive health in Riau Province prisons. It is occurred because of limited prison infrastructure, including getting access to goods essential needs during menstruation like pads. Efforts to reduce human rights abused against women prisoners in the prisons while improving compliance and protection of human rights is conducting the capacity building for the staff of prisons, setting clear standards compliance for the health rights of women prisoners, operating system of evaluation and monitoring of the implementation of the health right, adding women prisons officers, and build prisons that were intended for female inmates.
