Due to statistical analysis, the issue of random sampling is pertinent to any quantitative study. Unlike quantitative study, the elimination of inferential statistical analysis, allows qualitative researchers to be more creative in dealing with sampling issue. Since results from qualitative study cannot be generalized to the bigger population, qualitative researchers do not have to endure the strenuous randomization process of sampling procedure. However, qualitative researchers should not take sampling procedures too lightly, and if they do, it will affect the richness and the appropriateness of the data. The chances are, the data will not answer their research questions and this can frustrate the researchers when making meanings to the data. This paper will examine the available methods in sampling participants for qualitative study. Specifically, the paper will discuss the sampling frame suitable for case study, such as single-case (holistic and embedded), multi-case, and a snowball or network sampling procedure. Discussion will also involve challenges anticipated for each procedure.
Gifted student population is a group of individuals with specific and unique learning needs. Due to their uniqueness, the students always face problems in mainstream educational system. Teachers of gifted students need to be proactive and creative in preparing their teaching plans, methodologies, and materials, in order to ensure that the learning process is going to be effective to the students. This article discusses the concept of "digital classroom"-an innovative technique using integration of information and communication technology (ICT)-used at the "laboratory school" of National Gifted Center, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as teaching and learning strategy for local gifted students. The teachers integrate the use ICT such as the electronic mail, social media applications, and online learning portals as platforms to effectively teach the students. In comparison to the conventional way of teaching, this technique creates a borderless classroom which enables the students to freely explore knowledge without limit or boundary.

Bullying is a severe problem that is experienced, especially in schools. Children belong to the same social group, but some feel powerful than others and therefore take advantage of them to physically or verbally abuse them. Many institutions are aware, but most cases are not handled because most victims do not report. Therefore, only physical bullying is addressed as the impacts can be easily seen by adults. Various articles were analyzed to illustrate the different effects of bullying on the bully, the victim, and those around. The results demonstrate that bullying results in emotional, physical, and health effects and affects a victim's academic performance.

Feeling anxious is everyone's normal emotion. However, for some people, this anxiety can disrupt their life. This concept paper examines whether the Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is suitable to be applied for clients who suffer from anxiety issues in life.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
