At high pressure, the pressure dependencies of the structural, electronic, optical, and thermoelectric properties of Fe2HfSi Heusler were calculated using the FP-LAPW method within the framework of the density functional theory.
Half-metallic ferromagnets (HMF) are one of the most essential materials for spintronics. The electronic, magnetic, optical and transport properties of hexagonal XFeSe2 (X = Li, Na and K) compounds have been investigated by Wien2K code. The Heisenberg classical model has been used to determine spin polarization. The ferromagnetism is confirmed by the negative exchange energy Δx (pd), exchange constants, and quantum interchange of electrons in strong p-d hybridization. The integer values of total magnetic moment (MT) of 5.0000 µB, 4.9995 µB, and 5.0000 µB per formula unit has further verified the HMF in LiFeSe2, NaFeSe2 and KFeSe2 respectively. Optical properties reveal that the absorption of light energy exist in visible to ultraviolet regions. Moreover, refective index, reflectivity spectrum and optical conductivity are also reported. Lastly, BoltzTraP code was used to explore the influence of electrical and thermal conductivities of electrons spin, potential gradient effect and figure of merit (ZT). Results reveal that the studied compounds are potential candidates for spintronic devices and other energy applications.
Death has always been a central human concern. Death is transformative; for those left, therefore, the experience of grief and loss opens another world. The meaning of grief is not simply the “Loss of …” but the “Intense sorrow caused by the loss of a loved one (especially by death)”. Grief is the price we pay for love. The deeper the love, the greater the depth of the grief that follows the loss. Grief is a shape of emotional pain; however, human beings no longer constantly trip these levels in any unique order, nor do they trip each stage. This paper draws upon the conceptual framework of Kubler-Ross five stages of grief to analyze the following movies “UP”, “Baba Dook”, “The Kite Runner”, “Rabbit Hole”, “Summer 1993” and “Three Colors: Blue” content analysis as the method of analysis. Besides, this paper explores the impact of these five stages of grief on different genders through the characters and scenes in the selected movies. This paper is an exploratory and descriptive study grounded in qualitative research design and uses content analysis as the method of analysis of the selected movies. The findings of this study show that death is a transformative phenomenon and grief unlike other emotions is a powerful tool since it raises doubt about how the grieved discovers significance throughout everyday life.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
