ABSTRACT:In order to assess and describe the characteristics of the scientific literature on nursing administration, a historical desk research was conducted according to a taxonomy proposed by scholars, including 596 abstracts on the subject available in the collection of the Theses and Dissertations Database of the Brazilian Nursing Association. The topics were classified according to the theoretical approach proposed, calculating simple and relative frequencies for each domain and the identification variables of the studies. It was found that a third of the studies assessed had been produced in the Southeast of Brazil and were the subject of master's theses. The thematic classification showed that 17.6% of the studies referred to ideological and theoretical bases of nursing administration, 13.1% to intervention methods, and 69.3% to resource administration practices. The assessment culminated with the proposition of a new structure of knowledge about nursing administration that might represent that knowledge produced in Brazilian graduate programs. Classificaram-se as temáticas segundo o referencial proposto, calculando-se frequências simples e relativa para cada domínio e para as variáveis de identificação das obras. Apurou-se que a terça parte da produção estudada estava concentrada na Região sudeste do Brasil e havia sido objeto de estudo de dissertações de mestrado. A classificação temática revelou que 17,6% dos estudos se referiam a Bases Ideológicas e Teóricas da administração em enfermagem, 13,1% a métodos de intervenção e 69,3% a práticas de administração de recursos. a análise culminou com a proposição de uma nova estrutura do conhecimento sobre administração em enfermagem que representasse esse conhecimento produzido na pós-graduação brasileira. This study aimed at presenting and comparing geometrical and traditional technique for intramuscular injection in the ventrogluteal area. This is a quasi-experimental study of non-equivalent control group type, carried out with anatomical parts of corpses to verify the precision of function between traditional delimitation using hand as reference and the geometrical model which was constituted by tracing imaginary lines across bone structures of the hip, making a configuration of a triangle whose barycenter points the punction site. The study demonstrated that the punction site delimited by the geometrical technique keeped proportion of the envolved structures, and matched with the muscular womb of the ventrogluteal area in 100% of punctions. In another hand, in the traditional technique the punction site varied in 39.9% of punctions.
Objective: Reflecting critically on the epistemological aspects of the of knowledge construction on Nursing Administration in Brazil. Methods: This is an article of theoretical reflection that aims to assess the epistemological aspects of the construction of knowledge about Nursing Administration. Results: The knowledge about Nursing Administration has a long way to go, as its epistemological repertoire is still timid. In addition, the lack of distinction of this knowledge in the communication of research products underestimates the production on Nursing Administration, as these products appear diluted in other areas of Nursing (care, research, and teaching). Final considerations: Due to the reflections, the need for new scientific evidence is highlighted, whose formulation of research questions can contribute to the delineation of phenomena that distinguish Nursing Administration as an area of research knowledge.
Trata-se de um estudo descritivo-exploratório e interpretativo, apresentando criticamente as matérias de 19 exemplares do "Jornal ABEn", editados no primeiro lustro do século XXI, sob a ótica do aluno de graduação em Enfermagem. O estudo objetivou identificar, quantificar e analisar criticamente o conteúdo das publicações deste periódico, que veicula, desde 1958, informações de interesse geral e de caráter político, norteando os rumos da Enfermagem. A análise dos dados permitiu observar que esse periódico deu um relevante salto de qualidade a partir de meados 2002, e que a autoria prevalente das matérias é de membros da diretoria da ABEn Nacional, enquanto que as temáticas predominantes são as de políticas de saúde e de ensino superior de Enfermagem.
