There were 201 middle schools students from Makkah who participated in this study. The study found there was a significant relationship between hours spent playing video games and students" GPAs. They also showed a significant difference between gender in hours spent playing video games and that there was no significant statistical difference between the middle schools students" ages in hours spent playing video games. Additionally, male students were perceived to have higher positive attitudes toward video games than females. Despite teaching English language in Saudi Arabia for 6 decades, yet the outcomes are unsatisfactory. In this article, the lack of qualified English teachers in Saudi Arabia is the main reason for causing that issue. To address the issue, this study attempts to understand how untrained teachers have a negative influence on students' performance and competence. Unstructured interviews were conducted with students from two Saudi schools to reflect on the problems and obstacles that Saudi pupils encounter as a result of their incompetent instructors. Instead of interviewing instructors, we interviewed students to know the strategies, methods, and techniques employed by their teachers, which resulted in their incapacity to improve. According to the participants, the majority of English teachers in Saudi schools speak Arabic in English lessons rather than English. They also employ traditional approaches such as the teacher-centered method. They educate and explain in English, but when they reach a major obstacle, they immediately switch to Arabic as an efficient option. The study's findings highlight the necessity of having trained teachers to teach English in EFL programs in Saudi Arabia. The study's objective is to demonstrate that instructors are at the heart of the issues that affecting students' growth and how to assist them to overcome those problems.
Abstract-This paper engages with the ITIL framework for IT service delivery within the specific context of the Ministry of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). A literature review process is used to develop a critical success factors (CSFs) for the implementation of the ITIL framework in an organisation, based on a series of models like TAM and UTAUT, and then put into an overall conceptual model of use behaviour towards ITIL described by [1]. The conceptual model is then deployed in the field through a series of interviews with IT professionals within the Ministry of Education in the KSA. The interviews are semi-structured, and were intended to draw out the corresponding factors for success and the factors that have hindered the implementation of ITIL within this organisation. The data confirm the view of the literature that strong leadership and management involvement is essential both as a success factor in its own right, and as the means by which other success factors are enabled. The findings of paper make two observations. First, the literature sets out a series of quite precise success factors that relate to project management, communication, and quality control. The data presented in this research project demonstrate that in practice it is hard to make clear all of these factors to such a level of detail within the Ministry of Education in Saudi. Second, the implementation of ITIL is more reflexive than the literature and the conceptual model would initially demonstrate.
The systemic reaction to infection in newborn infants during the first 28 days of life has been referred to as neonatal sepsis. Global health issues include neonatal sepsis. Furthermore, newborn sepsis contributes significantly to morbidity and mortality in underdeveloped nations. This study examined the prevalence, risk factors, aetiology, death rate, and outcomes of neonatal sepsis in newborns in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. On the same subject, a thorough search of the literature was done using online databases like PubMed, Embase, and Google Scholar. After removing 45 duplicates, a total of 119 articles were found in the initial systematic search. 25 studies were removed after title and abstract screening on 74 study papers. Only 16 papers out of 49 total items that underwent full-text evaluation met the requirements for inclusion in this meta-analysis. We took research that were released between January 1997 and December 2021. We only looked for English-language studies during our search. Neonatal sepsis is a major public health problem due to its rising occurrence; therefore, it is crucial to look at its epidemiology, risk factors, and clinical characteristics. Since gluten is now well recognised as a precipitating factor, current research is helping to better understand the other aspects of this syndrome.
Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada disease (VKHD) is a rare multisystemic granulomatous disorder that mainly affects the central nervous system, eyes, inner ears, and skin, basically organs rich with melanocytes. This case report describes an 11-year-old Saudi Arabian female who presented with a six-month history of decrease in vision in both eyes associated with neck pain, right ankle pain, fatigability, and skin depigmentation. Her ophthalmological examination showed visual acuity of 6/30 oculus dextrus (OD) and 6/60 oculus sinister (OS), and her fundoscopic examination revealed vitreous opacity mainly in the right eye. Optical coherence tomography (OCT) demonstrated macular edema along with infiltration and optic edema. She was initially diagnosed as having posterior uveitis and treated with oral prednisone and steroid eye drops. A month later, her ophthalmological examination revealed a rebound of macular edema. Dosages of steroid and adalimumab injection were raised, and azathioprine was added. Her left macular edema was not resolved; therefore, an aflibercept injection was added.A differential diagnosis of VKHD needs to be considered. Any patient who presents with posterior uveitis should be screened for VKHD. Physicians and ophthalmologists need to be more aware of VKHD, as it can cause serious complications.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
