The equivalent transmission line concept in the spectral domain is used for deriving the transmission characteristics of superconducting microstrip lines with a r b i w strip thickness. The superconducting strip is modeled in the analysis by a surface current with an equivalent surface impedance which is obtained in a general closed form takes into account the thickness and the penetration depth of the suip. Numerical results for the phase and attenuation constants of microstrip lines are computed using the two-fluid model for the sake of comparison with other methods.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
