Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut dengan Indeks Prestasi Belajar Anak Kelas V SDN Kiarajangkung II Kecamatan Sukahening Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan rancangan penelitian cross sectional, populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa siswi SDN Kiarajangkung II Kelas Kecamatan Sukahening Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yang berjumlah 35 orang, semua poulasi dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengolahan data dengan cara dengan membuat tabel distribusi frekwensi untuk data DMF-T dan nilai prestasi belajar. Hasil penelitian yang dilaksanakan di SDN Kiarajangkung II kelas V Kecamatan Sukahening Kabupaten Tasikmalaya yaitu ada hubungan antara indeks DMF-T dengan prestasi belajar siswa SDN Kiarajangkung II kelas V Kecamatan Sukahening Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Hal ini mempunyai arti bahwa tinggi rendahnya indeks DMF-T mempengaruhi prestasi belajar.

The goal of community service "Implementation of Teaching Teeth Brushing Using Drill Methods in Supporting Training of Dental and Oral Health Cadres in the Community" totaled 30 people. The method of implementation is by transferring knowledge about dental and oral health through lectures and question and answer then teaching them how to brush teeth through demonstrations and simulations. Knowledge before and after being given intervention about the teaching of brushing teeth in the Al-Ikhlas Study Group DKM Babakan Jati Kel. Mulyasari Kec. Tamansari Kota Tasikmalaya obtained an increase in knowledge with criteria of less than 60%. The status of dental and oral hygiene before and after being given an intervention about the teaching of brushing teeth in the Al-Ikhlas Study Group DKM Babakan Jati Kel. Mulyasari Kec. Tamansari City of Tasikmalaya obtained an increase in dental and oral hygiene status with a bad criterion of 63.33%.
Children with special needs have a lower level of dental and oral health and hygiene when compared to normal children's dental and oral health conditions. Dental and oral health problems that commonly arise in children with special needs include untreated dental caries, bleeding teeth and crowding teeth (malocclusion), breathing through the mouth, and trauma. Purpose: The aim of this study was to The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the severity of untreated caries using the PUFA/PUFA index in children with special needs and the economic status of parents at Cipatujah SLBN. Method: The research method used is a quantitative method with the type of observational research with a cross-sectional design and refers to the type of data analysis Rank Spearman, parental income level questionnaire sheets and PUFA/PUFA index examination sheets. Result: the results of the study that based on the results of the Rank Spearman test show a significant value with a value of p = 0.019; p = <0.05 which indicates the PUFA/PUFA index value, and the value indicates that p = 0.393 <0.50. Conclusion: The conclusion based on this research is that there is a fairly strong relationship and has a positive value, which means it has a fairly strong and unidirectional relationship to the PUFA/PUFA index and the type of disability.
Background: Preschool age children are a period of growth for a child. Caries problem is a case experienced by preschoolers. This condition is very concerning considering that preschool children still need the role of parents in caring for their health, especially dental health. In this case, parental knowledge is needed in guiding and giving more attention so that children do not experience caries. Research objective: to determine the relationship between the level of knowledge of oral health and caries experience in preschool children at PAUD Al-Jihad, Subang Regency. Methods: research with a cross-sectional design, a population of 40 people, consisting of 20 Al-Jihad PAUD students and 20 students' parents, sampling using non-random sampling method. Data was collected by examining dental caries in children and distributing a list of questions (questionnaire) to the child's parents. Data were analyzed using the chi-square statistical test. The results showed that most of the parents' knowledge about dental and oral health of preschool children in PAUD Al-Jihad was mostly moderate (40%), caries experience in preschool children was mostly with high criteria (55%), there was a relationship between parental knowledge and experience. caries in preschool children (p=0.01<α: 0.05). In this study it can be concluded that there is a relationship between the level of dental and oral health knowledge and caries experience in preschool children at PAUD Al-Jihad, Subang Regency. It is recommended to carry out dental and oral health counseling to parents so that it is hoped that it can increase public knowledge and awareness in maintaining dental and oral health.
Background: Anxiety during dental treatment that arisesfrom childhood is an ob-stacle for children in dental care. The method for dealing with anxiety in chil-dren can be a combination of video games and playing, which is used to distract children from something that makes them uncomfortable, anxious or afraid by playing mobile video games in the form of videos that can be moved and educa-tion on dental and oral hygiene. Objective: To determine the effect of the mobile dentist game playing method on reducing anxiety levels in dental care for class II children. Methods: The research design was pre-experimental re-search design with one group pre-test and post-test design. The type of research used is the Wilcoxon test on 21 children. Anxiety levels were measured using the Face Image Scale anxiety measuring instrument. Results: Most of the children experienced category 4 anxiety level, which was 38.1% anxious before using the mobile dentist game method and after being given the game playing method, there were 42.9% of children experiencing category 2 anxiety level, which was not anxious with the Asymp.sign (2-tailed) value of 0.001 <0.05, it can be con-cluded that there is an effect of the mobile dentist game playing method on re-ducing anxiety levels in dental care for grade II children. Conclusion: There is an effect of the mobile dentist game playing method on reducing anxiety levels in dental care for grade II children.
